Judería de Onda

Buena mañana para visitar el castillo

En esta plaza se encontraba la judería, es decir el barrio judío de Onda.

We arrived to Onda to explore the Castle and historic downtown. We were looking for the Sephardic Jews in Onda and their Jewish Quarter. Inside the museum we saw the exhibits and we could not find references to them. We asked one of the employees and he mentioned where the ancient Jewish Quarter was located. We found the "Synagogue Plaza" and "Carrer de Valencia" where Sephardies used to live. He also mentioned that they built their own ships to leave from Onda to Italy. We have to continue searching the historic references. We visited the Plaza and found out it is being restored. An ancient arch and stairs were found under the plaza.

Llegamos paseando por el casco antiguo de Onda y no sabíamos que era. Sería un lugar perfecto para un cartel y un pequeño texto con la historia de la plaza y el lugar, pero lamentablemente no hay nada.
