Convento Padres Franciscanos ~ San Antonio de Herbón

Amazing albergue with kind people running it. It was clean with great facilities and views. The food was great as well. A great place to relax before Santiago.

Lovely, spiritual place. Worth the visit !

My wife and I recently visited this holy place during our Camino Portuguese. We were warmly welcomed by the hospitalers, given a comfortable place to rest, fed a wonderful meal along with no less than 30 others, given an informative tour of the convent, invited to the evening mass, offered a special pilgrim blessing, and sent on our way the next morning with a hearty breakfast - all for a voluntary donation. Splendid experience.

Opens 4pm, sleeps 30 pilgrims, double bunks in separate rooms behind curtains. Clean and comfortable, you get disposable pillowcase and sheet. Dinner and breakfast is served, everything is shared and eaten together. They show you around 6pm and you can take part of missa at 8pm and then dinner.

Defenitely the best stay during my Camino! The convent is a beautiful place to visit and Pedro was a really good host. Dinner and breakfast are included in the price, which is a donation. Higly recommended!

The Albergue opens at 4pm. Before that you wait at the gates until they open. Generally they accept up to 30 pilgrims. I believe that tjis is on a first come first served basis, not sure whether you can actually reserve your place. At 6pm they take you on a guided tour of the monastery. At 8pm there is the celebration of a holy mass. At 9pm there is dinner. The following day bfast is served at 7am. The albergue is around 25 km away from Santiago de compostela. The path to the albergue is marked by red arrows.

It's wonderful place, one of the greates on my Caminho, I found there peace and silence. Fathers take care of all pielgrims, espacially Father Jose. Saint place and saint people live there. I can't forget about Saint's Antoine fontaine, after praying I have found everything what I was looking for.

It's an amazing place. You are like a guest there and you receive dinner, breakfast. They are able to wash your clothes.
Very nice place for sleeping and garden.

Wonderfull place.

Bardzo klimatyczne miejsce na ostatni nocleg przed Santiago... Przemili gospodarze- wolontariusze zadbali o życzliwe przyjęcie. Mieliśmy okazję zwiedzić klasztor z przewodnikiem, uczestniczyć we mszy z błogosławieństwem dla pielgrzymów, a następnie zjeść wspólny posiłek z gospodarzami i pozostałymi gośćmi. Nocleg w 2 - osobowych celach klasztornych na łóżkach piętrowych. Rano wspólne śniadanie.. Czysto, domowo.. Obowiazkowy przystanek w drodze do Santiago... Dziękujemy za bardzo ciepłe przyjęcie...

El alojamiento en el albergue de peregrinos permite estar allí para hacer la visita por la parte del convento que es visitable. Tiene muchas curiosidades por descubrir. Te pasan por la huerta donde se cultivan los famosos pimientos de Padrón.

Una parada obligatoria del camino. Hospedaje a la antigua usanza. Los franciscanos son gente fantástica. Lugar tranquilo y apartado. Limpio y acogedor

Потрясающее, очень душевное место! Обязательно для тех, кто ищет духовности в Пути. Для пилигримов падре проводит экскурсию по собору и монастырю. Затем служба в соборе, после - совместный ужин. Утром завтрак. Здесь не просто ночлег, а нечто большее! Открывается в 16.00. Стоимости нет, при заселении или перед уходом пилигримы оставляют пожертвования. После можно пойти напрямую через холмы до Тэо. Очень красивые виды на рассвете.

Дуже гарне та затишне місце з атмосферою справжнього дива та любові! За весь шлях це була найкраща ночівля!

Com toda certeza posso afirmar que foi o melhor albergue que fiquei em todo Caminho.
Hospitaleiro era sensacional e as acomodações eram praticamente privadas.
Estadia, Jantar e Café da manhã por donativo.
