It's just a gorgeous garden. Super well maintained, huge, tiered. Lots of terraces and quiet corners. Every inch is planted. You can see that the gardeners do their job with passion! Set aside more time - the grounds are huge. We arrived at 6pm and immediately heard the gates closing at 8. 2 hours really wasn't enough, not the endless reminders were very annoying.

Fastidiously designed estate with stunning attention to detail. High above the cliffs amongst the pine trees, twisting, anastomosing paths take you on a journey of botany and photo culture like never before. Especially the cactus area! Take your camera on a sunny day and you’ll not want to leave.

Exceeded our expectations. Not only are the plants and garden nice, but the ocean views are spectacular. A bit pricey to get in (12 eu).

I loved this place. Beautiful gardens overlooking a beautiful coastline. I'm a garden lover so I especially enjoyed the walks and the huge variety of plants. I spent about an hour and a half there. I arrived at around 11:00 and the place was very quiet which, for me, made it more enjoyable. You can drive right up to it and park there for free. The entrance fee was €10.
I would definitely recommend coming for a visit.

Highly recommend this beautiful garden to walk around and take in views over the sea. It is a large garden so I would recommend a few hours to walk around it all! Many types of plants and flowers can be seen, and some beautiful old buildings. Lots of places to sit and admire a nice view. Note that there is no cafe, only a small vending machine with drinks and snacks, but they only take cash, or card payment with an app called breazy. There is a picnic area inside the garden under shade and many tables to sit so best to just bring your own drinks and snacks!

Wow what a beautiful spot, highly recommend it. Take a picnic lunch as there is nothing up there to eat. Free taxi to and from the carpark if you don't want to walk the 8 minute walk. You can race around it quickly or spend the whole day there ❣

For 10 euros you get to have a walk in a Mediterranean botanical Park of at least 2 hours walk. You can even bring your food as there is a picnic area and your book for the book area. Just with the photos you can see how incredible it is

This is so much more than a beautiful botanic garden, it's a story of the lives, love and legacy of two people.
We arrived early and being able to explore the garden virtually alone was truly a
magical experience. I could feel the presence of Dorothy as I walked down the steps from house and into the garden with the beautiful views.
Lot's lovely places to sit and soak up the atmosphere.
Free car park, but if you have a motorhome, don't try freeloading, you have to visit the garden. 10€ for adults or 5€ if you are over 65.
What I really didn't like and I tried my best to ignore, we're the awful, out of place "sculptures". Why are they even there? Please get rid of the hideous, tacky bowl of fruit and put it back where it deserves to be in a holiday camp amusement arcade.
Having said that, if you can turn a blind eye, you will enjoy the garden.

You can tell it's run by a bank. Spotless, the gutters at the sides of the path are swept clear of grit daily, the signposts are poor, the one way system in the car park isn't marked and the pedestrian entrance is closed and unmarked requiring an additional 1.5km to the ticket office. The first map is 100s of meters inside, no map handed out

Big summer music festival including Rod Stewart no less. Banks eh.

But the plants are great, nice sea view.

Worth going

Incredibly beautiful garden! Different sections with different kind of plants like Mediterranean e.g. also has a reading section with a small library ❤

We had an absolutely lovely day here, it is well worth visiting these gardens. The plants are arranged in areas - terraces, cactuses etc which makes them interesting to look at. We were lucky with a beautiful blue sky to set the plants against, and going down to the lower paths you get glorious view of the deep blue Mediterranean sea. Highly recommended.

Beautifully maintained gardens. Everything is labelled for identification. Staff are friendly. There is a picnic area and small children's play area. The stone castle looks amazing against the blue skies (cannot go inside). 10€ each in 2022 entrance fee and free if you have la caixa bank account, parking included in the price. of which there is plenty. Very clean toilets inside the grounds and vending machines outside (bottle of water 1€)
Fantastic sea views from the beautiful gardens and well worth a visit.

Jardíns de Cap Roig was originally designed by a Russian colonel and his wife. The couple purchased the property in the 1920s and transformed it into a botanical garden overlooking the cliffs of Costa Brava.

As gardens go, this is one of the most beautiful I've ever been to. It's well worth a stop if you're in the area. Fine for kids, even though a little hilly. It takes about 2 hours to go around the gardens.

One of the best locations to do a photo session. A lot of little corners full of flowers and nature. IT IS A HUGE PLACE, it will take you more than a half day to see everything, but after that you can always go to the beach, because it's pretty close.

An amazing, beautiful day out. Hidden gem. Top tips: make sure you're camera battery is full, good footwear for the gravelly foot paths and slopes, take your own picnic as we didn't spot anywhere for refreshments apart from a vending machine at the beginning. Gorgeous views looking towards Callela de Palafrugell. Pushchair friendly if you're up for a challenge.

A lovely place to visit, but leave plenty of time to be sure of seeing it all. Visit it at different times of year as looks different depending on the season.

This beautiful vast garden reminded me of the movie pans labyrinth. It was magical walking through the paths. The only thing I was sad about was that the castle was under construction so we weren’t able to go in. Otherwise, this place was still worth the visit and the entrance is inexpensive
