This hotel is very well kept, the staff is very helpful and friendly and the location is great. We were able to walk to many restaurants and shops, and were able to take the metro down to the museums. The breakfast buffet was by far the best we have had in our years of travel, and mimosas included, nice touch!

We went to Hotel Princesa for an internal company meeting with more than 70 people. From the check-in, the hotel offers a great customer experience with a smooth check-in. The rooms were clean, comfortable and with a very comfortable bed. We even had the full ironing package.
The breakfasts were great, as were the lunches and dinners.

I would like to say a special thank you to the whole team who welcomed us. They were really professional and went above and beyond to make our stay as great as possible, answering every request very quickly while being really friendly. They also came to check on us several times a day to make sure we were enjoying our stay and the conferences & workshops were going well. I have rarely had the pleasure of working with such a great team. I would like to say a special thank you to Hui & Maria who were both absolutely amazing. Thank you for everything!

I wish I could give this hotel & their staff more than 5 stars. This was my first ever trip to Spain & I will never, ever be able to extend my joy & appreciation in my experience in this review, but I will try my best. The hotel is surrounded by a mixture of old & new buildings lending to rich history & progressive futures. The entrance is surrounded by beautiful greenery, clean windows & walkways. Upon entering, you are greeted with welcoming faces & greetings, in both Spanish & English. The desk agents are prompt in getting you sorted out, collecting bags & getting you set up. My husband, daughter & I had been able to purchase The Level Experience, which I will say is worth the money, tenfold. Your bags are taken care of, while you are brought to a separate reception desk, again greeted in both Spanish & English, offered something to drink before settling in to finalize some details about our room. Our wonderful hostess then showed us around The Level Experience area, showing us how to use the coffee machine, going through the food items, beverages & the times everything is set up for guests. She went over where our rooms were & gave us keys after walking us to the elevators(lift). Once we got to our room, the experience continued with crisp, tidy beds, bright airy rooms that overlooked the city, spacious bathroom with amazing toiletries to use. A few moments later, the doorman brought up our bags, big smiles & warm greetings, asking if he could get us anything while he was there. We had thanked him for his offer & his service, to which he wished us a wonderful stay & headed on his way. Then, a few moments later, another staff member arrived with fresh bottled water with glasses for us, as well wishing us a wonderful stay.
Throughout the whole stay, each staff member treated us so kindly & welcoming. Any time we had questions or needed to know how to get somewhere, the hostess at the desks showed us on maps or cleared confusion for us, no matter what it was they were doing, they made it a priority to make sure you knew the answer to what you were looking for.
At first I thought that maybe it was just the hotel, but when we went to explore the city, we found that it is simply how the Spanish people are. I have never in my life, been somewhere that the entire population is this way. From our taxi drivers, to store employees, information desks, wait staff in restaurants, even the pharmacy (chemist) clerk were friendly & kind to us when we had questions. The Level Experience in the hotel, is one of a kind. I have never experienced such a beautiful display of hosting. The food was fresh, the drinks cold & everything was always stocked up. We got to experience flavours & foods we've never had, but also got to have familiar favourites but the taste was unmatched.
Our experience in the hotel restaurant was our favourite. Jesus is one of a kind. He is fantastic at his job, but also the kindest individual I have come across in a very long time in this industry. While jobs can grind away at people's integrity, it definitely isn't that way for him. There is standard held high for anything he did. Every table was looked after, the wait staff supported, restaurant goers spoken with. Always a smile on his face, worked quickly but never rushed. You never felt like he was hoping to get away from you to do other things.
Our food there was stunning. Absolutely, stunning. The presentation clean but modern, the food cooked perfectly every single time, the chefs let the natural flavour of the food speak for itself on that plate. And the consistency?! Perfection. I ordered the same meal twice & it was the exact same flavour each time. You certainly have created a standard that should be set for any hotel around the world & should be incredibly proud of your staff for representing themselves, the hotel & Madrid they way they have.
Thank you, to each & every single staff member at the hotel for an experience that my family & I will be talking about for the rest of our lives. We can't wait to return to your beautiful city & hotel.

It's a beautiful hotel with friendly staff, and helpful staff. The hotel offers a more personalized service than any hotel I've stayed at previously. The room was well appointed and comfortable and offered a well stocked minibar. We opted for breakfast in the morning and were surprised and pleased by the selections available.
I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Madrid.

I just love the Melia franchise. They have such good hotels. The prices are fair for what you get. We were staying in The Level Room (a bit more expensive) and it was just lovely. We were kindly welcomed, after checking in we were invited to stay in the lounge (drinks/snacks were free of charge in The Level Lounge???) the bar was open until 1AM and Juan made the most amazing drinks. The breakfast was excellent and fresh. The staff was just so friendly. They even helped us with recommendations to get the most out of our stay in Madrid. The hotel looks even more sophisticated and pretty in real life. Highly recommend!!

Was here for a conference and stayed at this hotel as well. Room was cosy if a little cold at times. Fixed simply by cranking up the heating and grabbing an additional blanket in the wardrobe. Good location, clean and great staff. Awesome bar as well - good portion sizes! Lunch is brilliant!

Our experience was great! The people who work at the hotel are very humble and attentive. Thanks to Aaron, Isabel, and Laura for their excellence. 12 hours of traveling to Spain was worth it.

Oddly arranged entrance to the hotel where busses and cabs have hard time reaching the front of the hotel is a definite negative. Otherwise this upscale hotel is clean and comfortable. It has all the amenities expected of upscale hotel and the hotel restaurant served top notch breakfast. The hotel is located conveniently near the city center, close to all the attractions.

aarón , Pedro, manu , daniel , Miguel , Sophie were very helpful, polite, attentive , knowledgeable, excellent, welcoming. Jose from housekeeping was very nice, he tried to put new shower gel bottle onto handle even if it was difficult because old bottle was stuck. Isabel the cook from mosaico was very warm. A bus boy from Mosaico was very friendly, I think his name is ander.

Terrific hotel! Feels very luxurious for a good price. The breakfast buffet is probably the best I have ever had at a hotel - tons of fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, eggs, all very fresh and high quality. We also enjoy drinks and snacks at the bar. Rooms are excellent. Location is great, close walking distance to many major attractions. Service was outstanding! Claudia at the front desk was particularly hospitable, helping us with our kids who kept losing keys and giving us tips. Highly recommended!

I stayed here for 8 days straight on a business trip. Highly recommend this hotel. The room has a nice table and chair which makes it a good place to work in the room if you need to. This has a 24 hour gym. They have a small tiny pool. I say it’s tiny because it’s probably 12m long. You can’t really swim but maybe just have a dip. The toilets have a nice rain shower with good water pressure. I really like the location and the staff tend to cater to your needs quite easily.

We were at the Melia Princesa in Madrid and it was such an amazing experience. The rooms were very comfortable - with bunk beds for the kids, full marks there, as we were travelling with young children - they made our stay extremely memorable - they spoiled the children with welcome drinks, toys and their own personal kits.
A special shout out to the wonderful and very warm staff at the hotel.
Look for Manu at the front desk, he is your go to guy for everything, very helpful!
Please also ask for Miguel at the bar! We enjoyed our time there because of such great service! So warm and welcoming!
Our experience here has meant that we will now look for a Melia hotel wherever we travel in Europe.
The hotel has some wonderful hotels, shopping areas and tourist places all within walking distance which makes it a great choice for tourists.
