Hotel Catalonia Las Cortes

My husband and I stayed three nights. The staff were gracious and helpful. Location was perfect for walking to our different tours and a short 15 minute taxi drive to the train station. Finding a restaurant is not an issue - picking one is! Our room was a bit on the smaller side and hard to maneuver opening the closets but we knew that a head of time when we booked the terrace room. Room was clean and perfect for our stay. We will indeed stay here again when we return to Madrid. Thank you to the Catalonia Las Cortes staff for everything!

We are very impressed by the hotel. The location is just right in the heart of Madrid. All of the restaurants, bars and walks are next door. The staff are so friendly and smiley all the time. Very clean hotel & rooms. Beautiful place to stay. Highly recommend the hotel.

What a beautiful and wonderful stay! We had a junior suite and the room was spectacular! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful - booking cabs, providing recommendations, etc! Location was perfect, right next to one of our favorite plazas! We speak almost no Spanish and they made everything very easy for us.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is a beautiful building located in the heart of Madrid. Our room was very quiet. Breakfast was high quality and delicious. Javi at the front desk recommended great spots for dining out, restaurants where locals eat we wouldn’t have known about otherwise, as well as other non-touristy places that made our trip a success! The service was simply impeccable. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again!

I had an amazing stay, which was made even better by the superb staff and hospitality. The location is phenomenal with great local restaurants. I’d highly recommend trying out La Malontina but you need to book. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is out of this world and I loved the fact I could have Cava. Paola remembered our order everyday and was amazing. Highly recommend staying at the Catalonia Los Cortes.

A really lovely place to stay, very comfortable and attractive. The staff at all levels were really good. Very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is wonderful and staff in the breakfast area are very attentive.
The hotel is in a good location too. We had a lovely stay there.

Just spent a lovely 5 days at the Catalonia Las Cortes. Being a rewards member, we received a room upgrade. We enjoyed every minute of our stay with a comfortable and clean room, delicious breakfast and great service! Shout out to Lucas who promptly helped get the a/c in our room quickly fixed when the room was warm. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of many good sites to visit. Madrid is a wonderful city and The Catalonia made our visit one to remember!

The location is great, the rooms were not tiny and, above all, well insulated, so at night even with the partying outside you could enjoy the silence. Loved this hotel and if I come back to Madrid I will stay here 💛

We enjoyed our stay at this unique hotel on a beautiful, quiet street in Madrid. Walking in we felt very welcomed and taken care of. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable. The breakfast has much to offer. Everything we wanted to visit was within walking distance.

Great hotel in the heart of the Las Letras neighbourhood. We only stayed a night for a concert but it was very pleasant. We got upgraded to the suite which was huge! Such a nice room, with lots of character and the biggest bed I've ever seen. Great location, friendly and professional staff, we will come back for sure

We loved our visit here! The staff were kind and extremely helpful. The hotel itself is gorgeous, a renovated duke's mansion - even our basic room felt glam.
Absolutely get the breakfast if you stay here - the description does not do it justice, it's a fantastic spread and quite delicious.

We loved this hotel. The staff are wonderful, attentive friendly. It is well located near the plaza Santa Ana where there is a lot going on. (We had a lovely lunch in the sunshine there.) Our room was very large by European standards, the bathroom had both a tub and a shower. The king size bed was so comfortable. They did a turndown service at night and left a chocolate, a nice touch. In the afternoon they serve a kind of tea with finger sandwiches and choice of drink from a great espresso machine that makes all kinds of drinks even cocoa. This is all included. Best of all is the breakfast; one of the nicest we have had anywhere. There is nothing left out. Eggs, frittatas, bacon, sausage, cheese ,fruit, fabulous pastries and a yum almond Cinnamon? cake I adored, etc etc. The orange juice is fresh squeezed. I told the desk I felt like I stepped back in time. They had gracious service throughout this hotel. We highly recommend it.

Fabulous experience! The room was lovely, the staff gracious - always asking if we needed anything. They even left my husband a birthday treat! We've never had a hotel do that. So thoughtful.

We stayed here for 4 nights. The location was superb, close to all the sights and good places to eat. Staff was very helpful.

Everything about this hotel is excellent. Location, attention to detail, response from the staff. Breakfast is tremendous, rooms are really spacious and the beds are very comfortable.

Located in the best area in Madrid to explore the old town and also near to Retiro Park and the Museums.
Rooms were clean, silent and warm even in the winter.

This was our first visit to Madrid, & the hotel ensured it was very pleasant. We were upgraded to a suite from a superior room. The suite is spacious, & well appointed as you'd expect. Although our room had 3 French doors to balconies, the room was well sound proofed & no street noise disturbed us. The bed was fairly comfortable & the bathroom was spacious. The hotel's buffet style breakfasts are well-cooked & delicious. We'd have a hearty breakfast & then only require a light lunch while sightseeing.
The hotel staff are exceedingly friendly while professional. They understood our faltering minimal Spanish & some spoke English which was very helpful.
The hotel has set a very high standard for the rest of the hotels to meet during our European holiday!

Paula was excellent! Great service and most helpful although we were struggling with the language she was patient, and kind. Thanks for looking after us. Day 1, and we would certainly return.
