The hotel has an elegant reception area, with a lot of wood, the staff is very kind, the rooms are spacious. There are certain defects that appear with use - closing the bathroom door, clogging the sink - which should be checked and corrected

Very good hotel in terms of quality/location/price.
Located slightly north from main tourist sites, but with a metro station 3 min away (San Bernardo) everything's close.
Hotel is in a quiet neighborhood with a very nice park just across the entrance.
Staff was very kind, fast check in and room with everything we needed.
Breakfast was expensive, we didn't take it so cannot comment it. However, many eateries and coffee shops around the block.

The hotel is beautiful, the service was impeccable and the decor and furniture were stylish. We had a room on the 8th floor, it was absolutely quiet, comfortable, clean and with a spectacular terrace. The location was more than perfect, 5 minutes from the metro station and in a nice neighbourhood. The breakfast was great and offered a wide selection (even churros).

Lovely old fashioned feel and attentive, professional service. Especially from Maria and Andrés at the front desk . Amazingly quiet considering it is located in the heart of Madrid. Opposite a pretty park and loads of eateries nearby

Friendly staff, clean and confortable, very good and rich breakfast conveniently open from 7:00 to 11:00; hotel in a quiet area at walking distance from the centre and nearby to public transport. I would recommend.

Lovely location with good breakfast choices and friendly/ helpful staff

Overall loved the hotel and the everything it offered. We got a nearly refurbished room and you could tell! Other than a few parts of the room it was perfect. Reception was also perfect, very helpful, responsive and respectful. They held our bags behind the desk both before we checked in and after we checked out. We will definitely come again when in Madrid!

An excellent hotel with wonderful staff, services and amenities. They do need to attend to their WiFi - which was poor.

A perfect 4-star city hotel, 30-minute walking distance to north, south and east, for Plaza de Mayor, Botin and Salamanca.

Stayed in this hotel during our first time to Madrid. The hotel’s decor is elegant, the staff are courteous and helpful. The location is perfect … walking distance to buses and subway station, tourist attractions are just a short walk away which in my opinion is a plus because you are not in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Breakfast was a good selection. There are also many nice restaurants nearby, as well as supermarkets. Will stay at this hotel if I visit Madrid again.

Absolutely perfect stay for our anniversary - beautiful room. friendly service, yummy breakfast buffet, ideal location for metro and Plaza de España. We were able to walk to much of central Madrid. We were thoroughly impressed.

Beautiful hotel with great location in the center of Madrid. The underground station is just a couple of minutes (less than five!) away walking, the neighbourhood is quite nice and the hospitality is unparalleled. I would definitely recommend.

Very good hotel at an excellent location! Easy to get around, lots of nice restaurants and cafes and metro station close to the hotel. Hotel itself nice and small, clean rooms and friendly staff :)

The bedroom itself was on the smaller side, not tiny like some in London. The bed was what I'd call full size. The bathroom was spacious, and it was nice to get a toothbrush and toothpaste. It was spotlessly clean. I walked from Callao to the hotel in roughly 20 minutes. Though I visited only a Deutsch Bank ATM and El Corte Ingles outlet, it looked like there were lots of restaurants and businesses nearby. The small park in front of the hotel made for a pleasant environment. Desk personnel were very efficient and friendly.

The room was very clean. The breakfast was perfect with a lot of choices. We really enjoyed staying there. Though, I would request a room facing the plaza next time I stay there.

Charming and comfortable hotel. Very good location near the upgraded university neighborhood (where you can find lots of pubs and tapa bars with mainly Spanish patrons) and only 15min walk from tourist attractions. Excellent breakfast and perfect reception attention. Definitely good quality-price relation.

They won my repeat business through their good value, their commitment to cleanliness, and their professional/helpful staff. The location in a residential neighborhood was perfect for me with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby as well as metro stops within easy walking distance if you want to head to the busy city center. Tip: interior rooms are quieter in general but earplugs or sound machine app are a good idea in any big city. I had both interior and exterior rooms at Conde Duque and I slept great! Kudos to Sercotel Gran Hotel Conde Duque on a job well done!

The most friendliest staff i have ever encountered at a hotel. They are always nice to you and very helpful! The hotel smells amazing when you walk in. The room was spacious and bed comfortable. The wifi was fast. Not a lot of English TV channels to pick from, but then again i didn't go there to watch TV. Also the air conditioner didn't seem to cool the room down, but they did however provide us with a fan. Breakfast had a nice variety to pick from. Would recommend staying at this hotel because of the very friendly staff! Well done!! Really loved and enjoyed our stay here.
