Hotel Urban

Very well positioned right middle of the Madrid. Very good and friendly service, nicely decorated rooms with some real pieces of art and quite tasty breakfast. Apparently they also have a Michelin star restaurant, though I didn’t arrive in time to test it.

The Urban Hotel is a gem in the Madrid area. The hotel is a perfect size for a boutique hotel, the rooms are a perfect size and clean, service throughout the hotel is on point, and customer service is of the highest level. The location of the hotel is also fantastic, as it is within walking distance of many popular attractions and restaurants. Additionally, the hotel offers a variety of amenities that make the stay even more enjoyable, such as a rooftop pool and a fitness center. The staff at The Urban Hotel is extremely friendly and accommodating, always willing to go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay for guests. Overall, The Urban Hotel is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in Madrid.

We absolutely loved Hotel Urban. The staff was so kind and accommodating. Just the fact that our room was ready when we arrived at 8:00 AM after an overnight flight was a miracle. I think they did that on purpose for us! The whole hotel was modern and clean and fresh. Our room was a good size for two. The location was perfect, we walked everywhere we wanted to go in Madrid, including El Prado, the Palace, the train station to Toledo, and all points in between. We saw so many parts of Madrid all on foot. It's not just that we *would* stay at Hotel Urban when we come back to Madrid, we definitely will stay there. No reason to look elsewhere. Oh also, try the Rollerie down the street. It was the perfect easy breakfast place for us.

A little dated but not that bad. However, the location, the service they provide, the delicious food and how safe you feel when you're there is incredible. Everything was close by, from laundry to a convenient store to local nightlife. I will definitely return.

This was a great hotel! Service was great and we could walk to all of our activities in the central city. The room was excellent.

I chose the hotel because I read something in Condé Nast Traveler that touted hotel Urban’s great location for access to Madrid‘s top museums as well as its great design. The location is phenomenal—close to the great museums, as well as wonderful parts of the old city and fun exuberant Spanish Street life and sociability. The Hotels design aesthetic greatly exceeded my expectations, both in the common areas and the rooms. The Papua New Guinean art was well used to provide interest. The best part of my families three days stay was the friendliness and hospitality of the staff, whether at the front desk, with luggage or calling rides. The breakfast food was superb, and the service was especially attentive. Hotel Urban greatly exceeded our expectations and made our trip to Madrid very memorable. The one downside that my wife noted was that the lighting for makeup application was difficult. She suggested a lighted make up mirror in the bathroom would fix this.

There was nothing that went wrong, everything from the moment I opened my taxi door to get in the hotel until the moment I checked out was flawless. VERY friendly staff , very clean, and all commodities that anyone can think of is provided, keeping jn mind i was in a regular room and not in a suite. I’m definitely going to this hotel every time im in Madrid.

This is one of my favourite hotels in the world. It is truly special and unique. The service is fantastic - they arranged a surprise for my partner in our room on his birthday which was most appreciated. The reception staff and doormen in particular are wonderful, very friendly and accommodating. It is conveniently located in the city center but at the same time, the hotel itself is very peaceful and luxurious. There is a beautiful smell as you walk into the lobby area and the rooftop bar (great cocktails), pool and chill out area are stunning and very chic. Thank you Hotel Urban!

Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Urban- the staff provided very friendly, professional and attentive service from the check in and throughout our stay. Our room was very comfortable and clean and was provided with luxurious linens and towels. Also very convenient location downtown and within close walking distance to the Prado Museum and Retiro park. Highly recommended!

The Best! In this hotel I felt something that nowadays is lost, the care for you by the staff. The people waiting infront to welcome you to take your luggage, this nowadays is lost. It is not the most expensive hotel in Madrid but it feels like you are in the best hotel. This service from the staff makes you feel like in the old times when the care of the traveller is on the first point. I will definetely come again to this hotel! Thank you!

One of the best hotels we've stayed at. The service here is exceptional particularly the concierge and the doorman. The rooms are modern and clean and the location is perfect, walking distance to lots of great restaurants and shopping.

Great place. Far enough but close enough to things to do. Box of chocolates, roses, mini bar included and restocked each night. Nice turndown service. Breakfast is a bit pricey. Highly recommend!

Amazing hotel, we changed our hotel half way through our trip and stayed here for our last two nights. The staff was amazing, room was super impressive and the roof top was a lovely place to start off our evening.

Overall, this is one of the best hotel experiences I had in a major city in the world (I travel a lot).
Pros:
- you will not find a better hotel for the money. Paid under 200 euros per night for a 5 star hotel in the middle of Madrid.
- location is great and you are walking distance to all the top attractions in Madrid.
- Excellent service and very professional and nice staff.
- The hotel design is very cool and unique.
- The pool on the rooftop is amazing. You will really appreciate cooling off there on a hot summer day.

Cons:
- Breakfast is not included. But you can find some really good spots nearby.
- The gym is tiny and is a joke. It is clear that they have the gym only to get the 5-star rating.

Overall, great experience in this hotel and strongly recommend it for anyone.

From the bell staff to concierge to the desk staff everyone was professional and courteous!! We had a wonderful stay here! We are traveling across Spain and this has so far been our favorite Hotel!

We have had a wonderful experience with friendly staff and accommodating front desk. We travel with our young children and the team at the hotel were kind and considerate at all times.

This hotel is the the finest in Madrid. Perfect, safe location. Outstanding service from the doorman, desk clerks, restaurant staff and rooftop bar staff. Loved the art work throughout. We were warmly welcomed with a glass of bubbly cold Cava. Beautiful room looking out the internal art gallery with fun electronic curtains and spa bath with glass see through to the bedroom. Bed was luxurious. Highly recommend it; you won’t regret it!

PS the music is loud on the rooftop bar but a lot of hip young people were hanging out there having fun so would not want to spoil it for them!

Very clean and welcoming.
Great location in the middle of Madrid, inside view room, so no view , but it's actually an advantage as the rooms are quiet with no traffic noise.
Internet could be faster, that's the only negative i can think of.
