Loved it. Be prepared for a reasonably steepish climb. There are two entrances, doesn't matter which one you choose take your time, it's worth it. Also make time to visit the church up there. Interesting architectural reliefs.

Views over the Sierra Ronda and situated above Guacin. A short walk leads to the Hermitage and gardens followed by a brisk climb to the incredible views at the top of the castle.

If you're in Gaucin or the vicinity, I wholeheartedly recommend a visit to this castle. The best part? Entrance is absolutely free, and your reward for the climb is an awe-inspiring panoramic view from the tower's summit.
To reach the castle, simply park your car near the cemetery and prepare for a scenic uphill walk that leads you to this historical gem.

If you are in or near Gaucín, this is a must. The views from the top are beyond comparison, panoramic across the Serrania de Ronda to Gibraltar and Africa. The castle itself is interesting, there's not much info about it but you can find out more online.

If in Gaucin you must visit. In the season you find figs on the trees or spectacular wild flowers in the grass and the views are the best.
