Great service and great food. Nice local people great hospitality and peace. It is worth arriving around opening time, as the place fills up quickly.

Absolutely lovely. We have been here twice now and will definitely be going again.
We arrived in Gaucín on a very wet and rainy day and we were in need of some comforting food. Not only was the food delicious but the gentleman serving us was friendly and charming. His wife cooked the food and it hit the spot.
We had the seafood paella as well as olives, bread, cheese, calamari white wine and beer. Then for dessert we each got the whiskey cake which was ice cream cake with a shot of whiskey poured on top. Delicious!

The best place in Gaucin! I will say- in Andalucia! You have to try it. I will never forget this food and atmosphere. I will truly miss this place. We’ve been 10 times in Pajuelo. So it means sometnig!

Went to this restaurant on our last night in beautiful Gaucin. Came across this place by accident and quite late 10.55pm. They welcomed us and agreed to cook us food. Other restaurants had refused us abruptly and said it was too late. Vibe there was relaxed. Waiter was friendly. We ordered the seafood paella, the pasta and prawn pil pil.

The paella was freshly made and absolutely delicious. The best we had in Spain. All the other food was gorgeous too. Full of flavour and So fresh.

I had an issue with my Revolut card when paying but waiter was so kind and understanding. Gave me the time to resolve the issue and pay.
We had to compliment the chef Bassy (who has the same name as my wife.)
Shame we discovered this gem in Gaucin on our last night there.
If you are ever in Gaucin you must visit this place.

A warm welcome from all the friendly staff and excellent food. A highlight was the prawns with avocado and the sizzling prawns. Paired with a nice glass of wine and a lovely evening was had. Earlier in the day we had taken various dishes as takeaway which were all well received. Worth a visit. Thank you!

We were on holiday and came across this bar and restaurant at Gaucin, The food and service was just great. we tried calamari Fritos (fried squid), Gambas pil pil (prawns) and most delicious black rice.
Thanks to Alberto and family for taking his care of us for free days and making us feel at home with awesome & authentic Spanish food..
I hope to come back here again & again..

me and a few of my friends came to gaucin for a week and came here on our first night, we have been back every night following, for both food and drink. The service is excellent, and although we don’t speak much Spanish the staff made an effort to make us feel welcome. The food is amazing and we have loved the salads. They had great music and was such a brilliant atmosphere. We will be back next year 100%! Thank you so much for adding so much fun to our holiday 😄😄

Alvaro is the man of customer service. The place is average looking on the eye but a place of high quality service and food. Do not compare to higher quality (looking) restaurants in the area. You will be made feel welcome and appreciated here with good food to follow.

Pajuelo was close to our apartment and we immediately loved it. Food was good, best Paella in the village and Alvaro and his wife were perfect hosts. Atmosphere was great, the location means you are in the hub of the village and we always felt very welcome

The owner gave us the red-carpet treatment. Very personable, friendly service, and great food -- especially the paella. A nice fresh salad too, and chicken and fries. Well go back next time we're in Spain.

The food here was excellent, there was a great atmosphere and we were well looked after by Alvaro and his family and staff! Well worth more than one visit - the steak is highly recommended and it was great value for money.
