Good food, great atmosphere. At the moment there is a big construction near the terrace, but nevertheless we could enjoy the place:)

Delicious food for a fair price and friendly staff. Although the time to get served could be better, that's why just not 5 stars for service.

If you are looking for genuine Spanish food, this is one place you could find it.

This is the kind of place you find in Pueblo Blancos, cooking traditional food, in a traditional restaurant. A dying experience on the coast.

Their Menu of Day is exceptional value. The only issue is you have to speak Spanish to find out what it is, so a bit difficult if you don't speak Spanish.

Parking can be tough, specially now with the town hall stealing even more parking space from them during the reform of the road. So go early otherwise you will be disappointed.

Simple, traditional, old-fashioned food as old-fashioned prices.

Great place for lunch. 'Menu del dia' great value with large servings. Hectic with varied clientele with groups of tradesmen to office suits. Sit under the trees and people watch. I'm sure it is a completely different environment at night but lunchtime is tremendous 'entertainment '.

Had the meal of the day which consisted of a starter, main course and desert all of which were delicious and two glasses of wine which came to €12.50 for the lot. Fantastic food at fantastic prices.

this place is a hidden gem........the best entrecote steaks, the best Tuna steaks......friendly staff and a fabulous atmosphere, in door and out door dining all on one level.

The lunch is now €10, which has translated into even better value for money. It is with a an entrée and a postre, and a drink. We shared a colliflower and a quinoa entrée. The fried colliflower was excellently seasoned and the salad met expectations. As a main we both had the chicken with almonds (and ginger), simply delicious...
The red wine is a fine crianza. Being full, we had cafe solo to finish. At the risk of sounding redicoulous, even the coffee is one of the best in Mijas. Chapeau to the staff for their excellent service and to the kitchen for their excellent meals. If it was not for the limitations imposed by my partner's treatment, we would eat here every week

We are frequent costumers....we like now Boquerones....they have improved the recipe....and the mussels....maybe New kitchen staff.....the excelent attention of the Waiters is the icing on the cake

We had a very romantic afternoon with great tapas,cheese, chutney,meat, sangria,slabs of fine manchego cheese,small burgers in a pepper sauce,calamari,2 jugs of wine,fishcakes, gherkins,creamy buns and fantastic fish fillets.The atmosphere was fair.The location was slightly interesting.The parking was substandard,the prices quite fair.We met up with a local group of 19 couples of varying nationalities whose hobbies included reading,jumping,clapping, skiing,chess,go karting, running, skipping,singing, shouting, swimming,board games,hunting,fishing, salvaging small pets, hopping, climbing,wine tasting, teaching and helping the old people in the local and international community.We had decent fun.The cofee is marvellous.
