Interesting place which displays rich cultural heritage of this place! Admission is free and reception desk people speak English which makes it easier to visit. Place is mostly accessible for people who have some difficulties with walking.

I love religious relics. It's interesting and beautiful. Paintings, wood carvings etc. The best, you have a view of the backside of the altar within the museum. Unfortunately I did not have too much time as I came short before closing time, 20min. The other part of the museum is for archaeological findings.

Cool Islamic and Christian art and carvings. Relaxing garden and quiet settings. Quite a variety of Christian imagery around.

Great museum with Arabic or Muslim style, good historical place for seeing beautiful architecture and knowing about lifestyle in that epoch

An oasis of serene beauty adjacent to the main pedestrian thoroughfare of central Murcia. It's a pity that there's no access to the gardens though the views through the huge windows along the ornamental pool and flower beds is stunning. The moorish artwork and architecture stand out, the rather garish Christian works less so. Free entry and pleasant folk make it even more worth the task of trying to find the slightly obscure main entrance.

A small yet amazing museum. I can't believe it's free. It has two sections: Andalusi items (i.e. from Spanish Islamic times) and religious Catholic items. Both are very interesting. The building itself is an architectural jewel. To top it all, during Christmas time the nuns create the most fascinating and complete nativity scene I have ever seen. Not to be missed.

My favorite place to bring visitors to Murcia. A very small museum but in a stunning setting along one side of the convent gardens. There is a free guide (in Spanish) if you arrange beforehand, or just show up during opening hours and wander at will (free entry, Spanish-only info boards). The ground floor displays the archaeological remains of the caliph's palace, and the pairing of this on one side and the convent pool and gardens on the other is delightful. Upstairs are artifacts from the convent's history, including a small chapel with a dragon-painted ceiling. A must-see spot in Murcia!

Free entrance, nice little place. Beautifully and tastefully restored. Would be helpful if the big texts were also available in other languages than Spanish, as is done for the items

Amazing that this is free to visit. An interesting display of art and a sympathetic restoration of the building. There is a great view into the church from behind the virgin.
