A Taberna do Trasno Cambados

We decided to try it on a quiet Monday night in May. We chose the taster menu, and it was sensational! Absolutely beautifully presented, tasted amazing, there was nothing we could fault. The staff were really friendly and we are already looking forward to trying it again when we visit Cambados later in the year.

We asked Carlos for a vegetarian degustacion menu.
He did not disappoint. The food was amazing, the flavours and presentation excellent.

We went for our anniversary, service was good a bit slow, but they were very busy. Had the croquetas caseras and they were very good. Had the solomillo with cheese sauce, was ok, would have preferred cheese crumbles. Small portion. Had the torrija with ice cream, very good a little skimpy on the ice cream. Large wine selection!

As your Cracow's Masterchef is traveling all over the world, to present you good recommendations it is the best Galician restaurant I have ever been spending my time in the north of Spain. The creativity of its Chef is amazing, and the food together with composed wine will blow your mind to the plate.

The tuna tartar was really good!
The iberico steak with teriyaki was good, but the teriyaki overpowered the flavour of the meat.
Dessert started off with Strawberries and yuzu ice cream which was really refreshing. My daughter asked if I wanted to taste her cheese cake.

Had a wonderful meal celebrating my wife and I's honeymoon just outside of their busy season. We were able to easily make a reservation and they were excited for us to visit. From the homemade croquettes, to the Iberian pork and Entrecotte, to the delicious caramel dessert, this is a must-eat restaurant.

We came in here for the first time recc by a winery. The place looks great as well as the service. They were able to accommodate us without reservation. It was full by the time we left. Food is outstanding including oysters, octopus, Zamborinhas and the fish . Service is also good but needs more staff to provide the service needed for this superb food. Highly recc

We came here during the Albariño wine festival so it was extremely busy (and the tasting menu was off), but it had a buzzing atmosphere and well worth it. We had a selection of excellent small plates including a tomato and cheese dish, some small scallops and a tartare of “old cow”, followed by a huge sea bass shared between three that was really fresh and tasty. All washed down by a bottle of prize winning Davide 2022 Albariño, unfortunately we did not manage to find some to take home with us the next day. We saw huge cuts of aged Galician beef on the bone going to neighbouring tables that would definitely be worth investigating on another visit. Desserts good too and a nice bottle of Albariño dessert wine (which was a new one on me).

Excellent meal. Recent restaurants we visited had food that could use a bit more seasoning. Here, everything was delicious. Top notch. They squeezed us in at 8:30 but we had to leave by 10 to open the table for the next reservation. No problem, we were hungry and tired. Highly successful expedition!

A friendly welcome from this Michelin-listed restaurant which didn't baulk at requests for shared portions ... and produced some exquisite food. The wine was great, too. Don't expect a printed menu but food is listed on the website.

The octopus with kimchi is truly amazing! This is a place that is consistently good and is my must go place while in Rías Biaxas.
