The food is excellent. The tomato is a must try dish. The sea food selection is great. We didn't try the meat dishes.

The food here is excellent. The people watching is great, but I want to mention our waiter… We were hungry, tired and had no reservation. I asked him if we could finish within 45 minutes.(9pm) would he give us a table? He said absolutely! Our food came out quickly. Every dish was a killer and the shot of.crema de orujo hit the spot! And YES we finished at 9pm...as promised!

Absolutely fantastic. Everything that we had was pure joy for the taste buds. Super nice owner who cares about his business. A must for anyone who is stopping by. I am not a review person but God damn I was happy with the food we had. Thank you

I really loved this place. Again, make a reservation for the weekend, we had to eat at the bar as it was packed (it guess it's a good thing). Waiter was very helpful and served us as quickly as possible. Meat was really nice and zamburiñas were too of my list from my visit to la Coruña.

One dish per person is good enough as rations are generous. The food is delicious and they are usually booked so make sure to reserve a table beforehand.

Great food, worked with us as American tourist to navigate the menu.

if you prefer service in white gloves and a tuxedo, this place is definitely not for you. If, however, you like the tavern-style, this place will works. wine selection: good, seafood: perfect, ceviche: divine!

The photos says it all, fantastic seafood tapas that are fresh and well prepared. Just enough sauce and spices to accentuate the natural sweetness of the shellfish, without overwhelming spices / condiments. The scallops are as delicious as they look, generously sized and sizzling hot. We found one of our favourite olive oil here so be sure to ask the staff for the brand if you love a good virgin olive oil. Tasteful decoration and spacious seating, we've been back 3x and love the food and friendly service. Highly recommended!

Every time we have been this place does wonders. Simple and consistently awesomely delicious menu. From the seafood, to local must-haves like the eggy tortilla Galician style, ensaladilla. There is not one dish that is not popular. And its always packed every night. Taberna-style enabling this place to be great for all - families, couples, friends and I see a few business lunches here also!

Great place. We came early and got a great table by the window. Soon after the place was filled. The food was nothing but perfect, 7 meals ordered for 4 people with nothing left and nobody left hungry. The local wine from Ribeira Sacra fit the food perfect and we finished it up with a shot of Orujo. Nice staff who spoke perfect English and was very service-minded.

Been 4 times this year. Service is very good, even when it is busy. Best to reserve in peak periods, it is very popular.

The food.
Fish and chips. It is one of our favourites. It is so popular sometimes it is best to order it when you make the reservation. Presentation on a wooden board with paper that looks like old style newspaper as once found in British Chippies is very original.
Croca. This is thinly sliced beef cooked to perfection and served with crispy potato chips.
Tortilla. It is done in the style of a nearby town called Betanzos, where the egg is fairly runny. But you can ask for them to cook it a bit more.
Raxo. Fried pork - excellent.
Rabo de Toro - Oxtail cooked to perfection. It melted in your mouth.

We have also eaten many other things off the menu, but the above are probably our favourites.

Highly recommended.

Sabory delicious seafood and a very good and unusual choice for vegetables. Plus free chupito of local sweet liqueur of Crema de Orujo to round up your meal
