Café Bar Rúa 11

We went there for lunch for the first time. Since we went early, we could find a table without any waiting. They have an extensive vermouth collection. We drank a few and now we have a new favourite! The drinks come with a pintxo of your choice. We also got a cheese platter and a charcuterie platter and although I thought we could not finish them, we came very close since they were very delicious. We went back for more vermouth at night and the place was packed. The owner was very friendly despite our non-existing Spanish and him not speaking much English. If I lived in Leon, I would definitely be one of the regulars of this bar!

Delicious tapas and tosta
This super busy bar (standing room only) serves really great tapas, which you get free with your drinks, but the tostas that we ordered were exquisite - pork cheeks with apple and cured sardines with capsicum.

This great place is located in The Way, and what a fantastic stop! The tostadas (toasts) are delicious, cod omelette a gem, and the service is fenomenal. Give it a try and won’t be disappointed

Great drinks and my main dish, mackerel over tomato was extraordinary; prices were quite reasonable as well.

Squeeze on in! Always pleasantly crowded and always delicious!

Highly recommend! Food and service were both excellent!

Dinner:
Went back and tried a fuller meal... This place delivered. I had vermouth and shared a couple dishes with fellow pilgrims. We had morcilla, beef jerky (thinly sliced like jamon), and something else that I totally forgot. I just remembered how good the morcilla with apple sauce and pine nuts was. 😂

Mid-day lunch:
Excellent service
Very good food, had tarta de queso. It was good and creative but I preferred the classic version.

My friends had food- the jamon dish and the cheese dish with nuts. It looked amazing.

Delicious Tapas, great service… lovely stop to have a wine and some tapas whilst exploring.

Best tapas I've had on the Camino. Highly recommended. If you're into bitter drinks I'd also recommend you try the Guzmán vermouth

An absolute must! Delicious tostas, try the morcilla and Apple with pine nuts! And the mil hojas dessert. Delightful service. Fantástic selection of vermuts. Don't miss the local wine either. We loved this placer!

Great little cafe/bar/restaurant. Good choice of tapa to go with your drink. Delicious tortilla for breakfast. 50 vermouths to choose from and a really good variety of cocktails etc. Good prices. I strongly recommend it!

If you want to experience a good local bar, this is it! Vermouth! White Wine & tapas. I loved this place.

Amazing food drinks and service

Awesome Bar just in the very center of Leon. The best: its owners who are nice and charming and the delicious food you can taste here.
