Not to be missed. Amazing views and walks at the top. The ride up is spectacular and a little hair-raising but worth it. Very popular in high season.

Take the lift upwards and do 'the number 24' marked track of 14km downwards. I advice to buy a ticket in advance online, because the capacity is only 20 people / 5minutes. We waited more than an hour in June!

Great fun, do book in advance, great way to get to Cabana Veronica and Horcados Rojos, with a fantastic v8ew of Jou de los Boches

Well worth the trip. The views and the scenery are stunning. The cable cars hold 20 people, run every 5 minutes and you are allocated a time slot on the way up. It's very well organised and managed. You can spend as long as you want at the top. We went for a long walk and the scenery and the landscape were spectacular. We saw vultures soaring above us. It was a hot sunny day. We had a drink in the visitor centre and sat on the balcony before coming back down. We didn't have to queue for very long. I think our experience could have been very different had it been the height of the tourist season.

A rather lengthy delay due to the popularity of this place. The delay was dealt with superbly. Ticket purchased with a time allocated to join the queue. Off for a coffee and a bite to eat and then back to the queue. No queue jumping as everything is barcoded, so relaxing, so impressive!

Nice lift and a fantastic 14km hike down hill through the fields and forest.

Reasonable price €35 for family ticket up. Walked down. It's a beautiful place. Track isn't very wild, it's managed but plenty of wildlife to see. Golden Eagles, vultures, lizards, and other birds.
Easy walking for the most part. You can follow the track all the way, which makes it easy to walk all the way. Steep if you are headed up, obviously.
Lovely views all round. The final part is in the forest.
3 hours for descent.
4 mins cable car ascent.
Buy tickets in advance.
Free car park.

Views are incredible. Great fun to ride the cable car up and down, a distance of 1,853 metres. Recommend you book your tickets when in high season. 2 cars running approximately every 10 minutes.

Incredible views from the top, the cafe serves a range of snacks and the prices are reasonable.

I arrived at midday and there was a 90 mins wait for a place on the cable car, it's worth booking in advance if you want a fixed time slot. However later in the afternoon there was no wait

We went in June and arrived around mid day and there were no queues, but even if there are queues I'd highly recommend this experience! Return tickets are €17. There is a restaurant at the ticket office with a sunny outdoor seating area.

It might be advisable to take a jacket with, as the weather below might be warm and sunny, but on top of the mountain it's freezing cold and it was windy. Also, if you suffer at all with vertigo, I would not suggest this trip. The cablecar is small, and does sway a bit.

We really enjoyed the walk about the top and the views of the mountains and valleys is just spectacular.

The only tiny irritation was the tinted glass of the cable car. All the photos taken had this green blue tinge. But it isn't something to complain about.

Great views from the top. Then a nice 3-4 hr hike to the hotel and back.

Late season (mid-October) so no wait and no need to buy tickets in advance.

€20 adult return and € for a dog. Dogs must travel in a crate and whilst we had our own it looks like you can borrow one. The walks at the top are spectacular with a decent variety of trails.

Massive cable car directly up the mountain cliff face. Not for people afraid of heights. Make sure you get there within the ticket time window

Incredible and so vastly and beautiful. Totally worth 17€ per person (in 2023). Have a quite experience. The parking is free. The food up there is simple but very good and the service is super nice. Thanks.

Restaurants either end, can one way it if you fancy a walk down the other side. Food very reasonable.

Fuente Dé cable car, situated some few kilometres from Potes, offers a gateway to the vistas and trails of Los Picos for casual daytrippers and dedicated hikers and mountaineers. Views depend on weather conditions and when we visited cloud cover obscured lower elevations, however sunscreen was a definite asset in full sun at altitude.

The cable car takes you to the top of the mountains in a matter of minutes. When we visited it was a very cloudy day so the views were limited, but I'd imagine the views on a clear day would be spectacular. A return trip on the cable car costs €17 per adult.

No luck today: it is raining a lot and the view on the top is …. Terrible

What I like with the service is that they show with a webcam what you see on top so you can decide whether or not you want to go.
The circus here is amazing, the view points are great. No regret we did not take the teleferico

Great way to get into the high peaks you can take a dog if you have a crate but yiu have to be able to carry them both for the last 5m or so into the cable car, worth the effort
