Restaurante Pensión Mariola

Amazing experience! I'm gluten intolerant and they had a lot of options for me to eat and drink. Friendly staff, excellent service. Definitely recommend La Pensión Mariola!

I slept only one night in pensio mariola and it was the best one over a 10 days cartrip in spain:
-perfect rooms
-amazing traditional food (I am italian and, trust me, in Italy as well it is very difficult to find food that is better than this)...taste their tiramisu!
-kind people always available and capable
-perfect quality/price ratio

Excellent traditional restaurant. Many amazing local dishes. Some of them as "Borreta" or "Pelotas de Puchero" are just unbeatable. Tasting all these natural food, traditional Mediterranean dishes, is a must. Many people from the surroundings come here to have the traditional Valencian "almorzaret", a Valencian tradition that contributes a lot to make life enjoyable. Excellent service.
We stayed in "Studio 5", a nice big room/apartment with a small kitchen and a private bathroom, and everything was as described in their website and as expected. We enjoyed a lot our stay. Highly recommended.
For clients with reduced mobility or difficulties with stairs, you should know that in the building of the rooms there is an elevator, but in the building of the studios there is not. Up to studios 5 and 6 on the third floor, there are about 45 steps.
Restaurant Mariola has also a big, astounding, very well attended terrace overlooking the valley.
Both restaurant (terrace zone) and pension Mariola are really pet friendly.
The village and the surroundings are beautiful, natural, and very preserved. There are many beautiful natural sites near the village. Ideal place for hiking or cycling. Good tourist information office with useful maps. In the village, there are also some other terraces where you can have a drink.
If you go for several days you have to know that there is one pharmacy, one health center, some bars but only two stores, a greengrocer and a butcher that can also offer some other basic products (check schedules because they are not open every day). It seems there are no other stores open at the moment (July 2021).
To sum up, Restaurant Mariola and Pension Mariola plus Agres Village and surroundings is a highly recommendable place to enjoy.

The place where is this nice restaurant is a very beautiful and small village called Agres. The service was unbeatable. Both the presentation and the food were espectacular.

La pensión es excepcional, habitaciones muy bien cuidadas, limpias, espaciosas y con detalles de muy buen gusto. A la vez las habitaciones son muy tranquilas, al igual que el pueblo. El desayuno incluido esta muy bien, surtido y a la vez amplio. Me quedé a cenar y fue todo un acierto, carta variada, lo que escogí exquisito y muy buen servicio, el salón es enorme. Totalmente recomendable si estás por la zona, es una pensión pero parece de mayor categoría. Darle 5 estrellas en Google es quedarse corto.

La pericana, molt bona. L'arròs al forn també. I els postres... ESPECTACULARS sobretot el gelat d'arrop.

Los días especiales para la familia los celebramos en el Restaurante Pensión Mariola. Es el sitio favorito de mi abuela porque la comida es casera, la de toda la vida. Platos típicos valencianos y de la zona, de mucha calidad.
Servicio muy bueno de parte de los camareros que aún siendo jovenes estaban bien organizados.
El precio es acorde a la calidad y a loa tiempos en los que vivimos.
Además ofrecen parking privado y gratuito para los clientes.
Mi recomendación para comer es el plato de gazpacho, estaba delicioso.
