This lovely museum is in a beautiful old building and offers an interesting overview of the history of silk production in Europe. It’s a must for a visit to Valencia, the city developed in the Middle Ages based in silk production.

The hands on demonstration was very informative and the gift shop sells some beautiful silk products at reasonable prices.

There is a relaxing coffee shop in a central outdoor courtyard.

It is a small museum, but really worth a visit. Learned a lot about the silk industry

This, for me, was an opportunity to check out some medieval samples of textiles. This is a small museum, highlighting Valencia's role in the global silk market in the past. Ideally, I would like a few more labels for the displays, as I would like to be able to confidently identify the rather lovely audio guide. The displays could then be added to somewhat, and the audio guide would still be relevant. Overall, it was lovely.

We had visited St. Nicolas church earlier and we received a free entrance to the Silk museum with those tickets so we decided to check it. Interesting historical textiles, some old tech about creating the silk in the workshop and quite high price items in their shop (probably the silk is expensive nowadays too). Couldn’t take photos inside.
