A taste of homemade Italian food. This place was always on our list but never got to try it until now and it did not disappoint. They have a pretty small menu but there is a good choice of options. You can come here for aperitif, lunch or dinner. We came for dinner. We had some starters and pasta accompanied by wine and deserts all shared between 4 people. Everything is homemade (even the pasta) and because they have a limited menu, the few items they do have, are very tasty. This will definitely be my go to spot and can definitely recommend. Staff are very friendly and the prices are very reasonable..

I've been coming here since it opened nearly 10 years ago and it's my favourite restaurant in Russafa. It's lovely in the summer months with the windows open, but in winter it can feel even more cozy and atmospheric. The food is simply divine and always cooked to perfection. Very friendly owners and staff who speak good English if your Spanish or Italian isn't great. I've travelled extensively throughout Italy too and this place holds up to anywhere I've been there. Probably because you're
getting the same great fresh ingredients in Spain as you get throughout Italy and all of the Mediterranean. I could eat forever in this tiny little place and die happy.

Best food we have had during our trip! And I’ve been to Italy and still this place stands out. We had the red pesto pasta and the pumpkin ravioli and they were both outstanding but the pumpkin ravioli were absolutely 12/10. We had the tiramisu to finish and as expected it was moist and delicious as well. The service was great too!I would 100% recommend.

If perfection exists, it probably be in Osteria! What a DELICIOUS MEAL WE HAD.

We are still day dreaming with their fresh pasta. We had a pesto pasta and a carbonara. The pesto changes from time to time, and when we visited them, they had beet pesto and it was amazing. And the carbonara.... NO WORDS FOR IT.

We also had the tiramissu and the "capresse" (a chocolate and almond cake), both of them super tasty and the perfect closing.

Besides the food, the service was flawless. The waitress was super niche and provided some guidance on the menu. We felt like home.

One thing that we loved was that the menu was short and sweet. They had a few plates, but we can tell you that, even though we tried two, we are very sure that the rest are delicious too.

Again, YOU HAVE TO VISIT THEM!

We recently dined at this charming Italian restaurant and were absolutely delighted with the experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the owner made us feel right at home with his genuine hospitality. Our dinner was exquisite - my girlfriend enjoyed a pumpkin ravioli with butter and sage sauce, while I savored the perfectly cooked, lightly grilled tuna with vegetables. We also shared a scrumptious bruschetta platter featuring wild pate, pumpkin truffle, and caramelized onion with melted cheese. We topped our evening off with the home-made tirasmu. A great, non-complex end to our evening. All-in-all were the flavors incredible, and the presentation simple but great.

We had a fantastic evening filled with wonderful ambiance, exceptional food, and a gracious host - all at a reasonable price. We highly recommend this Italian gem for a memorable dining experience.

We absolutely love this authentic Italian restaurant. It feels like you’re stepping into a restaurant in Italy while walking the streets of Valencia. Claudia was amazing, very warm, energetic and gave us great recommendations from the menu. The food was fresh and delicious. The entire experience was TOP! Highly recommended if you are looking for a truly authentic Italian experience.

This small place has about 20 seats and serves up wonderful Italian food from different areas of Italy. Run by a fun couple, it is amazing what she (the cook) produces in such a small kitchen. Totally yummy and worth a visit if you’d like a change of cuisine.

Everything was fresh and house-made. We both chose the pasta of the week, one with stewed beef and one with beet root pesto. The dishes were delicious and very filling. The decor and ambiance was cute and charming.

This cozy, intimate spot is an absolute gem! The food is world-class, and the staff and service are wonderful. The pasta specials change each night. My friend thoroughly enjoyed the pumpkin ravioli and I devoured the pasta with pesto and tomato. You must try it!

We have just had the best meal In this little restaurant across the road from the back of Russafa market. The kids (10 and 8) were made to feel so welcome and gave big thumbs up to different pastas. We shared a range different plates. An aubergine tapenade with raisins and vinegar was a perfect start. I can’t remember the names of all the dishes but we had the most rich, deliciouss thinly sliced herb infused roast belly pork and potatoes which were equally soft and crisp. We had a home made veal, pork and lamb sausage which was a Puglian recipe which Giovanni (who runs the restaurant with his wife Claudia) searched out and received the ingredients from a butcher in Puglia - what is not to like about that?? It lived up to this and was served with radish and fennel - a great match. Lamb meatballs were served with asparagus in a beautifully slightly sharp and acidic sauce made from lemon and egg yolk which balanced the sweetness of the meatballs just perfectly. A clever, fresh and effective false tuna salad (was actually pork) the second cold dish was refreshing and tasty... All this with water, wine, bread and chat about the different regions of Italy the staff came from made this meal an absolute delight. The dishes are medium plates similar in size to many of the tapas dishes you will find around Valencia but stood out for us and we will be returning. When we left we found they had another restaurant about 200 metres away. We had a look and it was heaving and full of families, couples and friends who all looked as enthusiastic as we did! Really do recommend this unpretentious, friendly and completely unique Italian restaurant.

Absolutely delicious, fresh food! They even make their own pasta. Be sure to try the pesto, it's just amazing! All of that comes with best service we had in Valencia. Be sure to visit this place, if you're in the city.

Very original Italian cuisine far beyond the typical pizza and pasta parlour. The staff is friendly and they know their stuff. Very surprising thing for me were the menus handwritten in a grocery paper! They have Sardinian beer and a great variety of pastas, I recommend the ravioli with lemongrass pesto. Expect a 20€ bill per person. Would definitely come again.

One of the best ravioli I ever had ☺ To add to that the staff there are so nice and the space is small and so welcoming you feel like your at someone place. We had the ravioli with pumpkin filling and the tiramisu. Can't wait to go back!

Quaint hole in the wall serving delicious homemade pasta. Limited menu but all very tasty! We had the mixed charcuterie and the pesto pasta (pesto made from walnuts) and the bolognese with rich meat sauce. Great services as well. Def recommend it’s right around the corner from Mercado Russafa!
