Came in after an unwelcoming greeting in another brunch spot nearby and were very happily positively surprised by a lovely breakfast experience. Atmosphere was nice with a cool breeze from large windows and beautiful exposed brick. Tostadas were delicious with hearty freshly made bread, and delicious freshly squeezed orange juice. Service was kind and the staff even helped by suggesting a “combo” breakfast which ended up being more affordable then ordering separately. Nos encantó! Gracias

I came here as a boulanger and I discovered a beautiful croissant different from what I know. You need to experience this venue in its entire package, but for me I connected with the « passion » of the chef baker, it’s the products that I communicate with so satisfying...Come here in the morning when the store just opened and you will be rewarded with love from people and food. C’est la vie!

My goodness the croissant is divine! It was warm and crisp on the outside and the inside was deliciously buttery and perfectly layered.
Great gluten free bread (and I'm not a celiac).

Visited twice during my stay in Bilbao for a delicious pastry (roll canela?) and good coffee.

Came for their beer and was not disappointed, tried Laztana, Hitman and Sok and loved them all. Food was ok.

Loved this place, our favourite find in Bilbao! The service is friendly and it's great for breakfast and not usually too busy to sit. Also, the craft beer brewed on site is fantastic and probably the best you'll find in the city.

Had a tasty zero alcohol beer a tapas and then a different beer which was good. I hope to return.

Wow, this place is incredible. Coming from the amazing beers in the Pacific NW, the beers here easily hold their own. The brown ale was easily one of the best I’ve ever had. If you’re looking something more than just your typical light beer in a great environment, this is the place.

As I approached the Basque restaurant, the aroma of grilled meats and spicy peppers filled my nostrils, tantalizing my taste buds and making me salivate with anticipation. From the outside, the establishment appeared unassuming, but as soon as I stepped inside, I knew I was in for a culinary treat.

The decor was minimalistic, with exposed brick walls and dim lighting, creating an ambiance that was simultaneously intimate and rustic. The chef, a culinary virtuoso, approached me with a warm smile and an air of confidence, eager to showcase his Basque-inspired dishes.

I started with a plate of pintxos, small bites of deliciousness that were bursting with flavor. The ingredients were fresh and thoughtfully paired, each bite an explosion of taste in my mouth. The standout was the foie gras with fig jam, a combination that was both rich and sweet, and left me wanting more.

Next up was the seafood platter, a stunning display of the bounty of the nearby Bay of Biscay. The grilled octopus was perfectly tender and smoky, while the shrimp were plump and succulent. The star of the show, however, was the grilled turbot, which was so perfectly cooked that I could have sworn I was dining in a Michelin-starred restaurant.

For my main course, I opted for the chuletón, a massive rib-eye steak that was grilled to perfection and served with a side of roasted potatoes and sautéed mushrooms. The meat was so tender and flavorful that I practically had to restrain myself from licking the plate clean.

As I sipped my glass of Txakoli, a crisp Basque white wine, I couldn't help but marvel at the culinary wizardry that had just taken place. The chef had seamlessly blended tradition with innovation, creating dishes that were both familiar and exotic, simple yet complex.

Overall, my dining experience at this Basque restaurant was nothing short of phenomenal. The food was exceptional, the service was impeccable, and the ambiance was just right. If you're looking for a truly unforgettable culinary experience, I highly recommend this restaurant - you won't be disappointed.

Great service, staff spoke English very well! Amazing beer selection, nice lunch sandwiches and the breakfast menu looked really nice! Will definitely come back. Their store around the corner is nice too.
