This restaurant is amazing! I am from Donostiá, and I love this place, and I think whoever is reading this will too! The people there are wonderful, very kind and generous. The food is delicious, I personally enjoy the Entrekot, Jámon, and Bread among other things :)

What can I say, I just love this place. It has been over 10 years since I last was there and was a bit hesitant about how it would be but it went over whatever we could have expected. Excellent service, great quality, amazing off the menu dishes and old time favorites are still there! And prices are just right! 😃 if you have a chance to go, don’t miss it!

We worked super hard to get to this local side of the road resto. We biked about an hour steep UPHILL to get here. It was recommended by a local! The reward was a delicious lunch on the terrace!

Beef Stew
This plate of beef stew was delicious. It tasted like it's been stewing for hours on hours. Tender and simple salt flavor. Not greasy. Just plain finger licking good.

Calamari
Just a light dusting of flour for breading and fried. Served straight up with lemon. So flavorful and tender.

Bacalao Egg on Baguette
Eggs and bacalao Scramble on a toasted baguette. Fluffy and good flavor. Bacalao not super salty. Great protein and carbs for our ride down (another hour and half of hills)

Washed it all down with some coca cola and a glass of white wine.

Def very local spot. Would have never found it had our bike shop guy never mentioned it!!

Best t-bone in the world, so tender and flavourful, beautifully cooked to perfection!

Traditional basque cuisine. The place is amazing, sitting on the top of a mountain 15 minutes from San Sebastian city centre. The food is rich and bought from the locals. You should try the tomato salad. Just unbelievable! Actually, every dish is a gem. Quite expensive though, i mean, all included around 50 euros per person. Plus taxi.
If what you look for is the real people experience, not the tourist rip off, then try this place.

Conveniently placed next to many local hotels on the mountains. Super local and fun place.
Get the cod in tomato sauce! Delicious! Their salads are also really fresh. You wont be disappointed here.

Restaurante vasco de comida tradicional lleno de Público local Donostiarra. Muy bonita ,pero estrecha la carretera que llega hasta Allí.Se ve el Mar y las verdes colinas que rodean San Sebastián.Después de comer es típico pasear hacia Orio.
Buena insonorización: Pared de piedra y techo especial.El local estaba lleno y se podía hablar perfectamente.
Excelentes las Croquetas de jamón: grandes y exquisitas,rellenas de bechamel suave y sabrosa. También excelentes las Gambas a la plancha,las Alcachofas,el Revuelto de Hongos y el Revuelto de Morcilla ya que el huevo suavizaba en su punto la morcilla.
Muy buenas las Antxoas en aceite.Bueno el Jamón serrano y los Espárragos.
Buena la Txuleta de vaca, Muy bueno el Bacalao frito con pimientos, nada seco muy jugoso y además dos buenos trozos por plato
Muy bueno el tiramisú y el Flan. Muy buena la Sidra Gaztañaga.
. Buena relación calidad /precio. Servicio atento y amable.

Excelentísimo sitio para ser feliz comiendo. De entrada la tortilla de papas estuvo increíble y la croqueta de jamón, un manjar. De principales El xuletón delicioso y el escalope una delicia. De postre, flan casero.
La atención de las camareras te hace como sentirte en casa. Unas divinas totales.
Volveremos en invierno si Dios quiere.

Entre el bosque y el mar, buen sitio donde la cocina Vasca hace honor a su nombre.

Merece la pena desviarse e ir a comer o cenar un día. Terraza amplia y salón correcto. La comida casera y abundante. Conocidos por los huevos fritos con todo y todo bien hecho. Como el atún con tomate y excelente, postres caseros (el tiramisù de primera) . Además los precios muy razonables y económicos para la cantidad y calidad.

Pocos sitios donde nos traten tan bien. Un gusto siempre que vamos, con niños, en pareja… todo va bien. :)

Croquetas impresionantes!!! Hay que pedirlas 100%, recuerdan mucho a las croquetas de la abuela. Los pimientos y la merluza muy ricas. La tortilla de bacalao suuuuper recomendable!! Y de postre, la tarta de queso casera muy rica :)

Me habían hablado de este sitio y nos gustó mucho. Comimos una ensalada de la casa, unos huevos fritos con patatas y tarta casera. Tiene comedor pero también puedes comer fuera. Se ve que es un sitio bastante concurrido. Volveremos para comer unas buenas alubias que vi y me quedé con las ganas. Tiene para aparcar pero según a que hora llegues cuesta. La atención de las camareras muy cercana y profesional.

Qué decir de un sitio que mantiene los sabores tradicionales desde sus inicios. Llevamos visitando este sitio desde hace más de 20 años... si quieres probar unos calamares con sabor, unas bravas únicas (no te olvides pedir el tabasco) y la mejor tarta de queso de Donosti no dejes de visitar este restaurante. La atención de sus dueñas es excepcional. Si además quieres probar cualquier plato de su carta te llevará a los sabores auténticos del tomate, el pescado o la carne. Eso sí... llama antes para reservar porque siempre está completo.
