Hotel Masia La Palma

Our stay at Hotel Maisa la Palma in July 2023 was absolutely delightful. The atmosphere was relaxed and the quality high-end, the perfect combination for a serene getaway. The rooms were beautifully appointed and equipped with air conditioning for our comfort.

We loved the innovative concept of their "Honesty Bar". Here, we could help ourselves to drinks and snacks, noting down what we took to be charged to our room. An interactive way to foster trust and facilitate ease.

The garden housed a 10-meter swimming pool, offering us a refreshing retreat in the midst of nature. Though we did not avail of the spa and massage facilities, their presence added a luxurious touch to the overall experience.

The hotel’s restaurant, Sa Poma, elevated our experience to gastronomical heights. The food was exceptional, and the wine list well-curated. The service was warm and attentive, enhancing our dining experience.

What touched us most was the familial ambiance. The mother-son duo in the kitchen and the father-daughter team managing the hotel and waiting tables instilled a unique charm.

Breakfast was an expansive affair, a delightful way to start our day. The lunch and dinner menu remained the same, necessitating a reservation, even for hotel guests, due to the restaurant's popularity.

The ample parking space was a convenience we appreciated.

The hotel's setting in a wooded area provided the perfect backdrop for peaceful walks. We found company in Lucas, the hotel’s dog, who guided us through the maize fields.

Hotel Maisa la Palma truly is a hidden gem, captivating in summer and, we believe, equally charming in winter. We were able to find the tranquility we sought during our stay, and for that, we wholeheartedly recommend it.

Want a relaxing get-away-from-the-hussle-and-bussle? This is the place. Peaceful and clean, modern, well thought out rooms, enough space in and outside to chillax. We came for 3 nights but had to stay 1 extra because we didn't wanna leave. Breakfast was good, we didn't lunch because we were out exploring Spain but dinner was delicious -see review - make reservations for the restaurant because it looks like it's always booked for dinner, which I understand because it's small and fine. (Fine as in fine wine, not ok fine). The host and hostess are helpful and does their best to accommodate you. Highly recommend this countryside secret getaway 🥰

Amazing place. Excellent location, close to Besalù, Olot, Figueres. The service is just the BEST.

This is the most fantastic holtel it is possible to stay in if a high rise hotel is not for you. It's small, elegant, charming, very clean and nothing is too much trouble for the hosts. The family who run it are fantastic, the father being a very accomplished chef who does fantastic food and the most delightul pastries it is possible to imagine. The pool is great as also is the spa, for anyone wanting to stay and relax and just enjoy classical music playing in the background, fantastic hosts and very clean and comfortable you couldn't find a better place. Truly a absolute haven.

A very special place situated in the Catalan countryside. Family run, and expertly done, country chic, casual yet elegant.

És el segon cop que hi anem. Hi vam anar fa 5 anys i segueix igual i amb la seva essència: tranquilitat, personal molt amable, habitacions i ubicació exquisites i que dir del restaurant Sa Poma. Si hi aneu, no dubteu en fer un àpat allà, val molt i molt la pena, ja que el restaurant és un dels seus grans atractius. Hi ha molt hotel petit que sempre hi ha alguna cosa que no acaba de rutllar o que perceps alguna cosa forçada, però a la Palma tot està extremedament cuidat i molt natural, i des d'aquí felicito plenament a la gestió de l'hotel. Ens hi veiem segur de nou d'aquí uns anys ;).

Es una masía muy bonita ubicado en el campo, tienen casitas independiente para mayor intimidad .
Todo muy fino, se respira tranquilidad total.

Habíamos reservado habitación superior y nos la cambiaron por la suit del jardín como detalle al mismo precio, increíble ,
Habitación preciosa.
El spa en pareja muy bonito e ideal para el final del día.

Hotel rural con muchísimo encanto. Trato exquisito. Comida muy buena. El menú degustación nos encantó. Desayuno KM 0 muy completo y muy rico. Las habitaciones son muy acogedoras, nos hicieron un upgrade de la habitación. Se puede alquilar todo el SPA por horas. Experiencia totalmente recomendable. Muy buena relación calidad/precio. Muy cerca de Besalú.

Hemos pasado un fin de semana perfecto en pareja, ubicado en plena montaña para poder desconectar pero al lado de Banyoles para acceder a restaurantes, supermercados etc.
Instalaciones, servicios (spa privado y desayuno) inmejorables, el personal muy amable y profesional desde la llegada.
Repetiremos sin duda

El hotel es muy agradable, con zonas comunes con mucho encanto y en el restaurante se come realmente bien. A destacar el trato y la empatía de Anna y su padre.

Excel•lent. Vam anar-hi l’any passat i aquest any hem repetit i realment val la pena passar una estància en aquest lloc que et fa desconectar al 100% de tot. Tant l’entorn com el bar de confiança, la piscina, el restaurant, el jardí, l’spa… Tot cuidat fins l’últim detall. El restaurant perfecte cualitat preu, el personal molt atent i amable et fan sentir com a casa, l’esmorzar espectacular. Tot sense dubte fantàsctic. Ens veiem aviat!
