La Ribera Bilbao

So good. Much more convenient to get the pintxos at the different vendors in the same building rather than go from bar to bar. Excellent value for the money and great location right on the river. Some of the best pintxos I had in Spain.

Modern restaurant located right on the river bank with a locally sourced ingredients (they get all of their seafood and meat from the market nextdoor). We went for lunch and ordered a few tapas dishes. We would have loved to order something from the fish menu but it is a minimum of four people and we were only two. The food was amazing, but it would've been great to have a few more non deep fried options. Wine list is small but with a very nice selection.

I went there with my boyfriend. We had the daily menu and it was DELICIOUS!
And the staff was so kind and polite.

Large market with many food stalls to choose from and alcohol also. Definitely more touristy, but even so the food is still good.
It’s worth a visit if you’re in town exploring and want to stop for a pintxos and drinks.

If you like jazz and good view, you have to stay here for a while

Sunday jazz at Ribera! nice place, lunch starting at 1.30 pm & very nice seafood.

This is one of “must see” places in Bilbao. It is dirty, huge crowd and completely chaotic.
There are several different food “kiosks” so you can try all types of food offered in Bilbao. It is cheap and all it’s fast food. This is unique place to see all this food on one place and check what you like, or at least to know what to expect when you order it on some different place.
After tasting different food for few days, I can recommend paella.

Huge diversity in food choices, good food, not expensive, cozy place!

Had an amazing brunch there, huge amount and diversity of food in the set menu. Definitely recommend the chocolate mousse and their version of tortilla de patatas with a very interesting texture! Will certainly return whenever I am back in Bilbao

Great place to eat. Great selection and even better value for money. Great atmosphere particularly on a Saturday morning. Remember it closes at 3pm. You have to go.....

Nice place to have some pinxtos. Some venues were closed but still enough options.

Got the 1 kg steak and the cod omelette for two with two glasses of wine for €50. A fantastic deal for great food in a nice setting.

The Mercado de la Ribera is a great place in the evening to have a few snacks and glasses of wine. You may pick what you like from different stalls. Yummy, and cheap.

I love this place. It near by the Casco Viejo, the old Town of Bilboa, on the bank of the river. Sometimes there will be live music. Great ambience.
