Impressive and much bigger than anticipated. Take a walk and enjoy the view. A must-see in the area.

Beautiful hike with my 2 little dogs. It gets difficult once you pass the tunnel. Be sure to wear good grip shoes, esp if it's wet. The seagulls thought my chihuahua was prey and tried to grab her so beware. I was afraid she would fall off the cliff. There are chains to climb the rock walls as you get higher. Not suitable for young kids. I have only 1 functional hand so I was able to climb about 200m away from the top before I had to turn back. The boulders were too big and I just couldn't do it with 1 hand.

My family (including 2 teenagers & 2 fit seniors) enjoyed hiking the Peñon d'Ifach Calpe this morning. It was a lovely walk up to the tunnel through the Calpe rock and then the intensity changed.
The scenery was stunning as the view of the Mediterranean coast continued to expand as we went higher. Be sure to wear gripping footwear as the protected ecosystem is rugged and the path becomes scrambling, with smooth rocks in some areas. There are ropes and chains in place to assist in climbing some areas.

Brilliant hike. Good challenge for all ages and capabilities. Try and go a week day out of holidays as it can get busy or first thing in the morning as the Spanish seem to be sleeping hehe.
My 8 year old bounded up there like a mountain goat.
It’s a must do when visiting Calp.

Not really suitable for dogs as rocks are slippy and jabby. Recommend the view point trail if taking your dog.

Moderate trail with amazing views through the and at the top!

Climb the rock a few times now and it's still as good as the first time

Good hiking route, not to easy not to hard when going to the top. Confirmed and disappointed that there is no Mac Donalds at the top.

La majestuosa montaña de Ifach en Calpe es una maravilla natural que deja sin aliento. Su imponente presencia domina el paisaje, ofreciendo vistas panorámicas impresionantes del Mediterráneo y los alrededores. Escalar sus senderos rocosos es una experiencia desafiante pero gratificante, recompensada con una sensación de logro y una conexión profunda con la naturaleza. Una visita a esta maravilla de la naturaleza es verdaderamente inolvidable!

Tot de tunnel is het makkelijk, de tunnel zelf lastig omdat het omhoog gaat, donker. Na de tunnel tot de splitsing met de mirador lastig maar te doen. Vanaf de splitsing naar de top: moeilijk, geen grapje ! Het pad naar de mirador is gemakkelijk.

Widoki warte wszystkiego ale warto pamiętać o dobrych butach i wodzie jeśli wybieracie się latem. Nie polecam osobom, które mają lęk wysokości i dzieciom - miejscami jest bardzo stromo i trzeba polegać głównie na zainstalowanych łańcuchach (wtedy najlepiej zawrócić w tunelu).

Super przygoda z wejściem :) Wpierw trzeba się zarejestrować na stronie, żeby wejść. Potem tak naprawdę jak się skupisz tylko na wchodzeniu to w godzinę dojdziesz na szczyt. Ale wchodząc w dzień , i podziwianiu widoków, robieniu zdjęć, zarezerwuj sobie do 2 godzin jak zahaczysz jeszcze Mirador de Carabineros.

Subir al peñón de Ifach se hace en una hora y poco. Al principio es un camino muy cómodo con curvas y en subida. Después de pasa por un túnel a través de la piedra del peñón, y a partir de aquí se complica un poco donde hay tramos donde hay cadena en la piedra para poderte agarrar, ya que en estos tramos deja de haber camino y es solo piedra que tienes que incluso trepar un poco. Pero que si llevas el calzado apropiado es accesible sin ningún problema. Luego las vistas desde arriba merecen la pena.
La bajada cuesta una hora más o menos, ya que los tramos complicados, hacia abajo casi hay que bajar sentados. Pero poco a poco se baja de forma muy cómoda.
Para subir al peñón no hay que pagar entrada, pero si hay que sacar entrada gratuita, ya que creo que solo permiten subir 300 personas cada día.
También durante el camino hay zonas donde hacer fotos.
Muy recomendable.

Der Aufstieg lohnt sich wirklich, da die Aussicht genial ist.

Parken kann man kostenlos im Hafen oder an der Salinas. Am Anfang geht es auf einer Art Strasse bis zum Besucherzentrum, wo auch Toiletten und ein Museum ist. Hier ist auch ein Drehkreuz, wo man nur durch gehen sollte, wenn man sich vorher registriert hat. Kostet ansonsten 600 Euro Strafe. Die Registrierung sollte man Tage vorher vornehmen, da schnell ausgebucht. Die Zahl ist begrenzt.

Dann ist ein sehr guter Weg bis zum Tunnel. Nach dem Tunnel und insbesondere nach dem Abzweig zum Mirador Gendamerie wird es dann beschwerlicher. Man sollte gutes Schuhwerk haben und trittfest sein. An den kniffligen Stellen hängen Ketten zum Festhalten.

Wenn man oben ist, dann kommt man aus dem Staunen nicht raus.

Der Aufstieg ist unbedingt zu empfehlen. Man muss nur seine Grenzen kennen.

Un sendero que nos lleva casi desde el nivel del mar a 332 m de altitud en poco mas de 1 hora. El comienzo es un camino empedrado bastante facil de hacer que nos lleva al tunel que da acceso a la otra cara del peñon. A partir de aqui el camino se complica siendo muy estrecho y pedregoso, llegando en algun tramo a servirnos de las cadenas instaladas para poder continuar.
Las vistas desde el punto mas alto son espectaculares, sin duda el camino merece la pena para disfrutar de este espectáculo.
Lo hice en temporada baja de verano y ya había gente por lo que me imagino que en pleno verano sera un recorrido bastante masificado llegando incluso a tener que reservar con antelación para poder accecer al peñon.

Genialny trip, ale ostrzegam-dobre buty wskazane(klapki,sandałki odpadają). Potrzebny krem, czapka i okulary oraz przyzwoita kondycja(wtedy 2h wystarcza jak nie będzie maruderów). Ale widoki genialne i warto dla nich się trochę spocić.

Szczyt warty zdobycia 👌 wchodziłam na wschód słońca - było cudnie. Wchodząc na szlaku widziałam maksymalnie 2 os. Wracając już zrobiło się dużo więcej ludzi.

Wir sind (das erste Stück) mit Kids vom Hotel in Calp insgesamt ca. 1,5h bis ganz nach oben gelaufen. Das letzte Stück (ab Tunnelausgang) ist dann nur noch mit festem Schuhwerk und ohne Kinder (zumindest unter 12 Jahren) zu machen. Alles andere ist meiner Ansicht nach nicht wirklich zu verantworten. Der Weg ist ein Abenteuer und die Aussicht auf dem Gipfel spitze. Sehr zu empfehlen.
Irgendwie muss man sich wohl registrieren, aber das hatte ich nicht ganz verstanden. Die Webseite ist eher schlecht und keiner hat's am Ende gemacht...

Tatsächlich festes Schuhwerk und trinken erforderlich!! Es gibt keine Toiletten oder Erfrischungen auf dem gesamten Trail!
RESERVIERUNG ERFORDERLICH
