It’s a MUST for anyone who travels down to Tarifa. The atmosphere is amazing and a popular hotspot to enjoy a sunset with music and drinks. There are two ways to enjoy it. One, go in the morning enjoy and the sun, waves and kitesurf and have lunch. Two go after lunch enjoy the tardeo with a vibrant atmosphere live dj and an amazing sunset. Food is just ok, you also have two options buffet, tuna, hamburgers or parilla after 17:30pm. Remember you go for the experience and atmosphere so it’s a pass. Also be aware and have planned how to enter the parking as the only accept cash and the way in and out it’s a bit tricky.

Great beach, the sand is amazing, so many kitesurfers. So many facilities too great to chill by the big bar. Food and restuarants.

The atmosphere was amazing, it’s was beyond amazing I highly recommend it, but an incident happened with a bar tender as i don’t drink alcohol so I always bring with me a soft drink in case the place dosnt serve Non alcoholic drinks so I went to the bar tender to buy water for my kids and holding my drink in my hand, out of nothing the bar tender got so angry and told me in a very very round tune get out not allowed to drink this here, I thought he was joking with me so I said it’s schweppes and I removed my hat from my head and cover it and I said can I have 4 bottles of water before I complete my sentence he staring at me with an angry face at told me again go out not allowed to drink this here. And my husband was with me and told he calm down there is no reason to be round he replied am calm, so I learn my lesson not to buy from any of those bar over the beach and bring with me all my things.

Super nice vibe, very good area full of places for having drinks or just chilling around.

Chicken burger was good but kind of overpriced, wouldn’t go here again for food but for vibes- yes. Kite surfing location, good vibes, windy but nice, good beach, just nice and green looking area.

Beautiful place. Nice beach with a lot of kite surfers, the food is good for a beach bar. Beers are 3€ which is reasonable since you’re also paying for the location and ambiance. Many young people and gets super packed during the weekend.

Top place to spend time with a drink, coffee or even lunch! Good music & vibes

Ok. So Tumbao itself IS closed. But there’s loads going down at this location. A beach bar serving Cruzcampo grandes at €3.50 and a buffet with meaty and vegetarian options, beanbags in a windbreak area to chill out on, tables in the shade, Liam Whaley Pro Centre, and a well kept lawn area just before the beach itself. This spot tends to be less crowded than the other beach slightly west from here. That’s probably because of the signs at the top of the road that say this is a private area, and the misleading status on Google Maps that this place is temporarily closed! Shhh. Don’t tell everybody. 😜

I do love this place! Nice BBQ food. For comida they have a great buffet for only 11 euro. Nice scene,many surfers, kite surfers relaxing & enjoying music. On Thursday live music. Also kite & windsurfschool here.

Best beach I've been to ever, the staff are great the service is quick and with a smile.ove the bean bags and cocktails.of you get there early there's a shady sport under the tree.

Relaxed place to grab a few drinks and lounge. The occasional event (picture is from the Red Bull Tarifa kite versus windsurfing event) makes this one of the hotspots for surfing and definitely recommend going for drinks here after any session at Valdevaqueros beach!
