Casa Lola - Antic Bar Freser

Slow food done with love. We found it on our lastest days on Riber de Freser and it was love at the first bite.
Great food, cosy place, really friendly.

We had planned to eat at one of two up-market restaurants in Ribes de Freser. One was closed the two days we stayed there and the most of the rest were closed. We were lucky to find Casa Lola. Casa Lola is a friendly family run restaurant. Lola cooks and her husband works out front. You can sit inside or out. The menu is very odd – or, perhaps, novel; a piece of yellow paper with the menu scrawled on it in spidery writing. No problem. What was included on the menu was tempting. Service is friendly and even if you don’t speak Spanish Mr Lola will help you out.
My wife and I both went for the Gazpacho. It was to die for. Tasty, fresh, delicious. Then I had stewed beef with veggies, Catalan style (sorry, I have forgotten the name of the dish) and my wife had baked aubergines with meat. Very tasty. We finished with two coffees and two brandies. All this for a mere €44.50. We liked the place so much we went there for an early dinner the next day.

Chicken dish in very flavorful sauce was delicious. Ambiance at the sidewak tables was pleasant and service was great!

Hemos comido aquí 2 veces en 3 días. La comida es muy casera y se nota que está hecha con mucho cariño y dedicación.
Ambiente familiar.

Restaurante familiar, muy acogedor, el dueño súper amable con muy buena conversación. La comida casera buenísima.
Visita obligada si estás por la zona.

Vaig anar a dinar un parell de cops en la meva estada i a més de ser superamables amb mi, em van servir un menjar típic deliciós. A més, estan permesos els gossos, tan dins com a la terrassa.
És un restaurant superfamiliar i tradicional. Si torno a Ribes, tornaré al Casa Lola, ho tinc claríssim. Et fan sentir com a casa.

Un 10!!!! Una atención buenísima y la comida casera!! Menú fin de semana 21 euros!! Los pies de cerdo algo fuera de serie !!! Hacía mucho tiempo que no me comía unos tan buenos y hechos con tanto cariño!! Si estáis por la zona no dudéis !! Gracias por todo asta la próxima!!

Comida excelente. El menú entre semana es de 21€. Lasaña de carne, canelones de carne de primeros, galtas y ternera estofada de segundo: carnes super tierna y sabrosa. Los postres tarta de arándano y de manzana nos lo hemos llevado porqué ya no entraba en el estómago y todo MUY MUY RICO. Y lo mejor???.. es el único restaurante en el radio de 50km que acepta perros.

Gran descubrimiento en Ribes De Freser, lugar emblemático, carismático y muy tradicional.
Comida casera como las de antes, uno cuando sube al pirineo se espera algo así.
Lola y Miquel se encargan de este pintoresco lugar, ella de la cocina y el de la sala.
Servicio Bueno, calidad de la comida un 10, súper recomendable espabilar porque e leído que se jubilan, una pena porque siempre deberían de haber lugares así no pueden dejar de existir. Gracias por todo señores

Local con encanto, servicio amable. Comimos menú de fin de semana muy bien servido y rico. Por poner un pero el servicio que está en el piso de arriba en una escalera empinada.
