Syrah Wine Bar

Amaizing place. About 3 or 4 euros to get in ,over 65 are free . Lift up to the top , staff are very friendly, and speak English , nice little cafe at the top, Vewis are fabulous .Will go there again.

Madge spotted this wine bar this morning and decided to visit after getting back from Beni. Lovely relaxed bar. Some pavement seating outside in pedestrian street but really cool interior. Decided we would all drink a bottle of Spanish Rose. Their driest. A very pale apricot colour. Quite different. Great background music.

This is a fun bar with an extensive wine list, tapas and puddings! We visited twice during our week in Alicante and had a delicious, if rather boozy , naughty Bailey's dessert on our last visit. The guy who served us was funny and kind.

My husband and I visit Alicante every year and have always visit Syrah a few times during our stay. Great wine selection at good prices (especially the local Tarima Hill red), great atmosphere, lovely food and professional service. You can sit outside or inside. Can't wait to revisit later this year.

Great tapas, fresh ingredients, good wine and amazin service. Definitely a place to return to.

We searched for a real wine bar in Alicante with wide selection of wines and we were happy with this one. We tasted around 10 samples of local wines, most of it in great condition. And those tapas... I was blown away with their octopus on chickpeas, that time best in Alicante in my opinion (tried around 10 another top bars). We were served by a girl speaking English and later ended up with a guy speaking only Spanish... but wine helped a lot :) Unfortunately, second visit was just mediocre with another shift, especially octopus was too salty and not in a harmony like for the first time.

wonderful place. This is now my third time in our counter, and I always make sure to come here for happy hour or lunch is simply great fantastic and all the waiters are friendly and fast.

Visited on two occasions - once for cocktails and once for dinner. Friendly staff, freshly prepared tapas, good drinks and great location. Good value for money compared to other places nearby.

Classy, very welcoming and absolutely delicious. The carrot cake is awesome ! I have been there for a wine testing, the choices of wine were perfect too !

Fantastic place. Had my husbands 50th birthday party here. Everything was perfect. Food, wine great atmosphere, would definitely go back for my 50th.

Fantastic place for a drink. Very friendly with a great range of wine. The music was great and the service excellent. We popped in a few times for a late night drink and always had a great experience.
