Casa Rural El Paraje

We stayed at Casa Rural for one night - and were sad when we had to continue our hiking tour. The host is very friendly and ready to help with local information. We never had such a good and varied breakfast. We also booked the dinner and enjoyed it very much as well.
5/5 and we would definitely come back (and recommended to our friends as well)

An absolute gem in the Alpujarras. After a very long hike, we arrived late and sweaty at El Paraje but received a warm welcome from Brenda. We had a good rest after a delicious dinner and started our hike the next day with a superb breakfast. Totally worth the slight detour from the GR7 - if you are coming from Berchules, walk up the trail from the heliport for a shortcut. Highly recommended.

This lovely bed and breakfast (and dinner if you request) is set in an incredible location. I spent two nights with my family, we hired our a large room in this cottage/house built over 300 years ago.

The views are just literally incredible. The scenery very peaceful. The host, Brenda is incredibly knowledgeable and recommended nearby attractions and walks that we would find useful. She will provide on your reservation and incredible (I mean incredible) breakfast and dinner.

Our room was very modern, the bathroom/toilet also very clean. We had a balcony overlooking the scenery. There is also a swimming pool on site should you wish to go for a dip and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Overall, this rural cottage style living was wonderful, the hosts are wonderful, find it very difficult to provide any criticism.

Beautiful, old house with lovely rooms in a quiet location out of town. Best breakfast in Spain. Delicious dinner option.

Great views from this very tranquil house. The best breakfast ever! Clean room and cosy common areas. No problems with keeping our bikes on the property.

Wonderfully restored casa rural outside the village (Bérchules) up in the hillside, surrounded by gardens. Tranquil place with amazing views from a large terrace during a breakfast/dinner or from a nearby swimming pool. Relaxing spot where we also got a good sleep. Brenda is really nice to talk to and also a great cook (homemade chocolate cake was fabulous as well as the entire dinner). She upgraded our room upon arrival just to make our stay more comfortable, which was much appreciated!

Brenda is een heel fijne gastvrouw en een geweldige kok. Ontbijt, diner, lunchpakket: allemaal even goed en lekker. En de plek is ook een mooie uitvalsbasis voor prachtige wandelingen.

Prachtige plek, heel stil, top ontbijt, zeer gastvrij, we hebben dagen bijgeboekt. En van hieruit zijn ongelooflijk veel prachtige wandelingen te maken.

Een fijne plek om wandelvakantie te starten met behulpzame gastvrouw die n fantastisch lekker etentje of ontbijt voor je klaar maakt. Geweldig mooi uitzicht en bijzondere oorspronkelijke Cortijo of boetderij.

Geweldige mooie plek
Na een intensieve GR wandeling boekte we een overnachting in Casa Rural
Brenda de gastvrouw gaf ons een welkom gevoel met veel informatie over de omgeving en de wandel route .
We hebben erg goed gegeten .
Op de valreep heeft Brenda omeletten voor ons gebakken. En was er de volgende ochtend een heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt .
Prima kamers.
Kortom het was top bij Casa Rural El Paraje.

Nuestra experiencia ha sido excelente. Hemos estado solo un día pero no ha podido ser mejor, la casa es muy acogedora, es grande, está muy limpia y dispone de todas las comodidades.
Sin duda repetiremos. También destacar el buen trato recibido por parte de los dueños, muy amables y serviciales.

Todo muy bien, un lugar muy bonito y la casera es un encanto. Ideal para desconectar
