Parador de Jarandilla de la Vera

Beautiful hotel, gorgeous room, great breakfast. The hotel's outside restaurant/cafe area is stunning and is a great spot to just sit and enjoy. Hotel allows dogs and they provide a bed and small bowl.

We didn’t stay at the parador but visited the exteriors. Nice

This place is amazing. Paradores are buildings of historical importance in Spain that were turned into hotels in the 80s in order to preserve them. They are beautiful, with very nice rooms and bathrooms and excellent service. The value is also exceptional. For the price of a cheap chain hotel in the US, you get the room and “media pensión” which includes a three course gourmet meal and a buffet breakfast with a huge selection and anything you want “made to order”. The Parador de Jarandilla De la Vera is beautiful- the building, the courtyard were meals are served and the pool area. You can’t go wrong with this hotel.

A fantastic place for a stop over from North to South. Pool, great rooms, in the mountains so drive had amazing views. Great food in restaurant and friendly staff. I highly recommend it.

Lovely place to come and a good walk up to natural springs from here but not much else yo town

We stayed there before but went this time for lunch only due to time constraints. The meal of selected "rationes" was among my best culinary experiences in Spain. Service impecable, quiet, efficient. The original attraction was the history surrounding Charles V and his son Don Juan of Austria (commander of the Christian Fleet that defeated the Turks at Lepanto and saved me from having to learn a new language. The food is the new main attraction. Breakfast from 4 years ago remains my all time favorite.

Just wonderful!
Though it's a big out of the way, off the beaten treak... it was the best parador i've stayed in, during my time in Spain. something about this place.... was so beautiful and I'm eager to go back there some day.

Our first visit to this Parador, our 41st. As at all Paradores the staff and amenities are over the top. The view of the beautiful courtyard as you enter is enchanting a definite stop on any trip through marvelous Spain.
