Hotel Txanka Erreka

We had a great time at the Txanka Hotel.
The people who run the place are so friendly and helpful: when I couldn’t connect to the WiFi because of technical issues, they tried everything to solve the problem.

Another unexpected plus were the *free* snacks (popcorn, apples, and sweets) as well as drinks which were available every afternoon. The breakfast is super nice as well and they had vegan options. 🌱✨

🏠Sure, it is located right next to a traffic-laden street, but when closing the window at night it‘s quiet and the whole experience really makes up for that small downside.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel, in particular the complementary coffee and little snacks (the breakfast starts only at 8h so it's nice to be able to have a coffee and a cookie if you need to leave sooner). It is also very nice that they allow pets! The people working there are very nice and friendly!

Nice small hotel with great amenities and decorated with taste in each detail.
The owners are super friendly and relaxed.
The breakfast is fantastic, relaxing on a small terrace.
Definitely a recommended place if you need to stay in the area.

Wonderful hotel, quite small in a good way, we thought about going down to village but had great evening meal outside on terrace. The breakfast was incredibly good. What else? Really friendly staff, complementary sangria and salchichon. It is quite close to road but wasn’t a problem

I loved this place and the people in it. The friendliness and home atmosphere was out oof this world. The willingness to create a loving and welcoming atmosphere was greatly appreciated. Food quality was extraordinary and a rare find in hotels. Also, all the touches in the hotel; flowers and so much more, was a treat to all the senses and made up for the proximity of the property to the road. In other words , this is a place I cannot wait to come back to and sharing it with people I love.

Fantastic place! And pet friendly!
Perfectly located amongst beautiful rolling hills and hiking trails, very close to Orio center/ Orio Beach.
Many great amenities like free champagne, sangria, popcorn and many other snacks. The staff were super helpful and friendly!

Amazing stay. What a cute hotel. Very comfortable spacious rooms, extremely friendly staf. The owners have put a lot of thought and care into everything. You can help yourself to cava, juice and there is even a popcorn machine in the breakfast area. We loved our stay there. The beach at Orio is also really beautiful and at a short distance from the hotel there are two really good restaurants with amazing views. Overall we highly recommend it.

What an amazing surprise.
Just before Orio hidden in the mountain was this super charming and beautifully designed boutique B&B Hotel. Easy access easy parking and great for travelers with dogs they even got their own little fenced in backyard and their own beds and bowls.
Ignacio and his team were amazing.
Clean and cute rooms and an delicious breakfast on the Terrasse.
This will be our pitstop in between Berlin and Portugal.

Perfect location for travelers right off the motorway. The owner is absolutely lovely, as is the entire hotel. What a labor of love!!

Brilliant! Staff amazingly kind, welcoming and the place is very clean. Spacy room and breakfast was excellent. One of the best places I've stayed in. I won't go by stars ever again (this was a one star) but by google etc... 10/10

I am walking the Camino del Norte. I got caught in the rain late in the afternoon, so I stopped here for the night. And WOW! Very friendly and helpful! Beautiful and comfortable room! Very generous by providing welcoming treats and drinks! Beautiful building and grounds! Super breakfast!

I have no idea why this place is rated so low, the bedrooms are amazing with tons of room and it comes with your own garden! When you first come in they greet you with champagne (if you're old enough) and croissants and they even have a help yourself popcorn machine! This place is basically luxury
