Centro de Visitantes Norte Parque Nacional de Monfragüe

One of the best national park visitor centres we have ever seen. All info in Spanish and English (or other languages, by scanning a QR code). Superb videos, graphics, information panels about the park, the surrounding countryside and the flora & fauna found here. Free entrance.

Had no idea it was available. An absolute must before traversing the Park either on foot or by car. Free entry. Brilliant displays. Allow time to listen and soak in the info provided. Very goof loos!

The visitors center is next to the camping, so an easy stroll for a visit. It's well laid out and very informative, but it is aimed at local tourists, so all info is in Spanish. However at all the informationshields one can find a QR-code to download the same info translated into English to your mobile-phone.
Well worth a visit!

We paid a visit while staying in the campsite next door. This is a really beautiful building , very tastefully designed and constructed with what looks like local materials. The centre has some great exhibits that give a taste of what to expect in the park. There are some great views of the surrounding countryside and mountains to the north. Well worth a visit.

Wow. Very recently opened. We stumbled across it whilst staying at the campsite nearby. The building and surrounding are fabulous, and the exhibits are stunning. A great intro to the park and it's wildlife. Make a detour to see this place

Very well presented interpretation of the history, geology and fauna of the park. Detailed English translation accessible using mobile phone and QR code.

Modern visitor centre where you watch a documentary as well as all the other interesting exhibits. There is also a short walk where youu can see what wildlife is found in the area

A very good place to visit.

Desde el Centro se organizan excursiones, guiadas por personal muy conocedor y francamente agradables, en nuestro caso David.
Una visita de unas tres horas y media en las que pudimos observar diversos biotopos, con arboledas diferentes y hasta animales como ciervos.
Es francamente recomendable.
En el centro propiamente dicho hay una exposición de animales naturalizados con paneles explicativos, claros y conciso, su extensión es adecuada y no satura.

Fantástico centro de interpretación para los visitantes del parque Nacional!
Parking de fácil acceso para llegar a unas magnificas instalaciones rodeadas de dehesa extremeña pura!
Las instalaciones son muy chulas, bonitas y funcionales.
Recomiendo cien por cien antes de visitar el parque para irse sumergiendo en el mismo.

Fuimos por recomendación de una de las responsables de centro de Villarreal de San Carlos y la verdad es que la visita mereció muchísimo la pena. Es visita libre (desconozco si hay visitas guiadas).
La exposición cuenta con numerosas imágenes y vídeos, además de audios, maquetas e información diversa sobre el Parque Nacional de Monfragüe.
También se puede pasear por los alredores y disfrutar de la dehesa que lo rodea. Desde allí hay unas buenas vistas de la localidad de Malpartida de Plasencia. Para verlo mínimamente bien se necesita, al menos, una hora puesto que es una nave amplia.

Está fenomenal. Puedes ver todo lo que puedes encontrarte en el parque Nacional de Monfragüe, su vegetación, fauna, senderos que puedes realizar, etc. Además puedes hacer alrededor un paseo muy agradable, en el que hay un merendero. Está pegado al camping Monfragüe.

Muy interesante el centro, con fácil acceso con coche y con personal q te explica lo que se puede visitar en el parque tanto las rutas en coche como la de a pie.
Es educativo y con instalaciones modernas.

Espectacular centro de interpretación de uno de los Parques Nacionales más impresionantes. Obligatoria visita en familia.

Excelente visita a unas instalaciones de lujo. Ideal para conocer la fauna y flora de la zona. Un poco escondidas pero alucinante edificación y exposición.
