Villa de Ainsa

Climb the steps, walk the walls and view the views, stunning and free! Mainly ruins but well worth the climb. Lovely village situated in the middle of a medieval fortress. Some restaurants for lunch serving average food on large terraces and you are able to park the car nearby.

Considered one of the most beautiful towns in Spain. And it really deserved. Main square of the castle is full of restaurants where will be difficult to choose one where you don't have a great experience.

Pretty old town with lovely square. Really enjoyed visiting and went for dinner twice. Loved it.

Gorgeous old town beautifully preserved and, in June, not at all commercial. The car park is up in the old town so really convenient for a visit. We have an autocaravan which we could park there and stay the night

Picturesque but touristy little village !

Very interesting, the whole old village is amazing, worth a visit for sure, great history, these hilltop villages are all so wonderful, and this one especially. Lovely views over the river below, and a good market too. We parked up in the new village, and walked up the steps to the old town. You can also park up top, we found out!

It feels you go back in time, amazing place.

A lovely historical castle / fort on top the hill surrounded by stunning mountains, located in a lovely town. Perfect place to have a wonder for couple of hours and enjoy the views. Parking near castle is €0.30 cents per hour 👍

Fascinating place. Unfortunately visited during some sort of Spanish music festival so a bit loud for a relaxing visit

One of the most beautiful Villages you can visit in Spain and of course in the Pirineos range.
Lots and lots of options around off Sport and outdoor activities from rock climbing skiing walking water rafting can you name ATC

Medieval castle in the top of Ainsa, didn't stop for any drinks or food but the place is quitr historic and very well preserved.

Beautiful museum about protecting Pyrenean flora & fauna and great bird rescue program.

Medieval castle and stunningly beautiful village, very friendly locals and good restaurants and bars.

Great location . Only 3 € for motorhome parking for the night.

Small museum but very interesting and well presented. Very helpful staff!
