Beautiful place, Isabel our guide was great and went out of her comfort to support non Spanish speakers at the tour.

Wow!! A magical place, full of history. A must-see in Úbeda. I could have done the tour twice. The guide explained the history and told us the stories of this place in a really interesting way. Highly recommend!!

This is a fascinating place to visit. Previously hidden synagogue and small houses discovered during building works and restored as well as they could. The guides are very friendly and informative. We have been twice and the option of an English explanation has never been mentioned but obviously that doesn't mean they don't do it! We are fine with Spanish but it may not suit some foreign visitors. Well worth visiting.

Very wonderful tour by Andrea who manages the facility. This historical building is an archeological and religious museum full of ancient surprises. You must tour with a facility guide to see it. We were part of an Over Seas Adventure Tour from the USA.

Really a cool place. The tour is informative and interesting and it’s really cool to discover this hidden secret place of worship and get an idea of what medieval Spain was like with the mixing of religions. Definitely recommend.

Very interesting small historic site. Beautifully excavated and restored it gives a real sense of the history of this religion in Andalusia and it's subsequent decline under persecution. Much of the site was buried over time but has been 're opened down to sub basement level.
Every day artefacts tell a story of life here.
Word of warning for English speakers. Although there are detailed descriptions available in folders that you can carry round, the guided tours are normally only delivered in Spanish. Only because everyone on our tour was an English speaker did we get a translation. Tour takes about 45mins to 1 hr.

Amazing place, unmissable spot, incredible history. The synagogue has been hidden for centuries and it's in an surprisingly good state.
Apparently is the only Sephardic synagogue found with all the rooms and compartments that a synagogue should have.

It's definitely worth a visit.
