Hotel Ordóñez Sandoval

Beautiful hotel. Very friendly owner. Great comfortable room with very clean bathroom. Well worth a visit.

We stayed here in late February, 2023, and while the weather was unseasonably cold, the warmth of the welcome at this hotel made up for it. The host is very thoughtful, the room is very comfortable, and we enjoyed our short stay. The views from the eastern town wall are spectacular, and walking around the old town is peaceful and interesting. The breakfast was especially nice, in a beautiful room, with tasty traditional food.

We loved every second of our stay in this beautiful house. Pepe is a lovely guy and fabulous host.

A grand old home that could be a museum (and two others nearby are). The owner is very welcoming and accommodating. He even showed us sections of the house that were closed to visitors. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

My daughter and I stayed at this lovely hotel in September, 2016 when she traveled to Ubeda to take a job as a teachers aid assisting students learning the English language. Our stay lasted a week and it was a very enjoyable experience. Pepe, the owner and proprietor was gracious and extremely helpful in our quest to navigate the city and in securing the necessary paperwork for my daughter's work. The hotel is a beautiful piece of Spanish architecture that has been in the owner's family for over a century, I believe. We look forward to a family vacation here and renewing our ties with Pepe.

A wonderful old house with a central courtyard, converted into a hotel / b&b. Our room was enormous; the greeting friendly; the location great; the breakfast good. There's parking in the centre of town (Plaza de Andalucía - about 300m away). When we were there, the WiFi was iffy; they knew about it, and were trying to get it fixed.

We stayed for 2 nights in mid October. From the sense of ordinary people (I am), it was an experience far from reality. Because it was a house of nobility. The owner was noble and had a delicate heart. When I saw the building, paintings and furnitures, I felt the history of a family from hundreds years ago to the present age. If I were a writer like Kazuo Ishiguro, I would have written a novel about here....Morning, the birds singing woke me up. I walked out of the room and saw a lot of birds were flying above the courtyard. As if it was a scene of an old tale. In the breakfast room table-setting was the most beautiful I've ever seen. It's a wonderful morning. Thank you very much.

Un hotel fuera de lo normal.

Estuve con la familia en el Puente de Mayo, ya que ellos conocían Úbeda y me quisieron dar una sorpresa.
El hotel no es un hotel, si no un verdadero antiguo palacio, cargado de historia en cada uno de sus rincones. El dueño, Pepe, te trata maravillosamente y está atento a todo lo que necesitas, al igual que el servicio que se encarga de las habitaciones.
Por la mañana el desayuno que ofrecen es muy completo y te sientes como si estuvieses en casa.
Sin duda, es un lugar para repetir varias veces.

Un hotel excepcional que te transportará a otra época de palacios principesos
Habitaciones de lujo, desayuno estupendo y el anfitrión intachable por su amabilidad y servicio.

Es como si un amigo te hubiera invitado a su casa y te diera la llave de la puerta de entrada, te enseñara toda su casa y por la mañana te llevara el desayuno.
Esta en el centro, con parking gratuito al lado ( también hay de pago al lado).

Un hotel lleno de encanto. Destacar la amabilidad del dueño de la casa Palacio transformada en hotel. Un lujo alojarse allí, es como estar en casa, en una casa de ensueño.

Tiene muchísimo mérito dar a los amantes de lo auténtico y lo antiguo la oportunidad de disfrutar pasando una estancia en este alojamiento. Un verdadero museo, pero para usarlo y vivirlo. Gracias Pepe por tu amabilidad y contribución al patrimonio de tu ciudad.

Cet hébergement est superbe. La maison magnifiquement meublée, très grande chambre, propreté absolue, hôte très sympathique et à l écoute, petit déjeuner excellent, de qualité et abondant. Garage public apparemment sûr, votre hote vous conseillera. Rapport qualité/prix parfait.
Nous y retournerions avec grand plaisir.
J'ai rarement conseillé un hébergement avec autant d'enthousuasme !

Es un hotel encantador, digno de 4 (e incluso 5) estrellas. Todo perfecto: ubicación, limpieza, desayuno y trato del personal.
Cuidan los detalles y eso se nota.
Cuando volvamos a Úbeda, repetiremos sin dudarlo.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado cerca del centro, caminando se llega a todos los lugares que despiertan interés turístico. La habitación amplia, cómoda y con un baño también amplio y cómodo. El desayuno variado y abundante. La atención muy amable. El hotel por dentro es precioso, conservan muchas antigüedades, todas en buen estado.

Precioso hotel, antigua casa solariega, que conserva todo el encanto y el sabor de la época. Es un lujo alojarse allí y compartir momentos con sus propietarios, de lo más atentos. El lugar está cuidado al detalle, quedamos impresionados durante toda nuestra estancia. Habitaciones preciosas y muy espaciosas que te transportan a otra época. El hotel en sí un auténtico museo. Muy bien situado y con aparcamiento público cercano. Muchas gracias chicos por el fin de semana tan especial y hacernos partícipes de la historia.

Acabamos de dejar el palacete. Con mucha nostalgia de haber vivido una experiencia de otra época. Las sensaciones sentidas se viven pocas veces en este mundo tan ajetreado. Las habitaciones, el patio, el salón y todo el conjunto te dan La Paz ,la tranquilidad y el traslado a otros siglos pasados.
Si esto lo acompañamos de un anfitrión que está pendiente de hacerte agradable la estancia ,haciéndote disfrutar y disfrutando él a la vez , de ver que lo que supone de continuidad del legado de su familia es tan valorado; no tiene precio. Gracias, Pepe, volveremos otra vez desde Logroño para seguir disfrutando. Un abrazo y suerte.

El edificio, las estancias y el mobiliario son espectaculares por su antigüedad y su cuidado.
Está perfectamente ubicado cerca del casco histórico y con aparcamiento muy cerca.
El dueño fué muy atento.

Lugar totalmente recomendable, tranquilo, habitaciones super amplias y equipadas. Mención especial para su dueño José, sumamente agradable y nos sirvió un desayuno espectacular. Para repetir. Recomendable. Gracias José.
