Mesón Puente Romano

Food is fine. They were kind enough to whip something up quite late in the afternoon and we sat out on the terrace and watched badly dressed pilgrims cross the bridge.
Staff were really helpful and polite.

Great to experience this Roman bridge and local watering hole.

I was here in 2012, and 2017 with fond memories with my fellow pilgrims. I went here tonight for a meal, beef steak, that I quite enjoyed. Jose, part owner (and I believe is son to the owner), was a great waiter. Thank you Jose! I will be back in my future fourth camino!

Great place to stop and grab a drink or eat and relax along the Camino Frances. Great views of the bridge and river.

The restaurant is located next to a Roman bridge, the terrace is wonderful, near the river, the service is excellent, the waiters speak English and chef and restaurant owner is genuine, the food is representative of the local cuisine; authentically homemade and fresh, incredible desserts and also you can ask for a good local wine

Great attention and service. We visited during the off season and were treated exceptionally. The food was good and reasonably priced, but the attention made us want to return.

Lugar estupendo para comer frente el puente romano. Rápidos y muy atentos . Se agradece que te aconsejen y expliquen el menú que tienen. La comida está riquísima.

시원한 살얼음이 낀 맥주와 가리비, 수프를 먹었습니다. 정말 맛있어요. 카드결제는 되지 않아 아쉽습니다.

Buena comida y excelente trato. Vistas del puente romano excelentes. Nos ha encantado el vino Mencía que servían con el menú del día. Y el dueño nos ha invitado a un cóctel delicioso, tienes que probarlo 😋

Buen sitio.. El personal muy atento y el Dueño más de lo Mismo... Recomendado... Me gusta su terraza al lado del Río...

Totalmente recomendable, el dueño nos trató bien, y eso que llegamos tarde y sin reserva, el menú del peregrino está muy bien y muy completo,una buena calidad precio, sitio con unas vistas al puente romano geniales ya que está pegado. Es ideal para estar con la familia ya que no pasan coches.
Si vuelvo repetiré, muy atentos con todo.

Extraordinaria lugar para comer, cantidades más que sobradas. Nos ofrecieron un botillo, no se que es pero el sabor es espectacular. Unos callos, mejores aún pero que lamentablemente no pude con ellos. Agradezco a los camareros y el dueño, muy atentos, amables y educados. No dejen de visitarles.

Fuimos 11 adultos y 6 niños, reservamos antes (imprescindible). Coincidimos con jornadas gastronómicas, menú impresionante de 22 euros, 5 platos degustación y segundo a elegir. Para los niños hicieron comida aparte que comieron muy bien. Botillo muy rico (ojo, que es comida muy contundente, jaja), cordero riquísimo, lenguado, entrecot... Todo delicioso. Trato perfecto. La única pega quizás el café, no es muy bueno y estaba tirando a frio. Aún así no les quito las 5 estrellas, que el vino además estaba muy bueno y nos regalaron chupitos al final.
