Such a warm welcoming from the volunteers. Rooms for 4 people, kitchen, place to dry your clothes, etc.

This albergue has everything a pilgrim needs. The staff are very friendly and interested in helping pilgrims feel welcome and comfortable. It's run on donations so be generous. They are doing a wonderful job!!

The volunteers were somewhat bossy like elementary school teachers, even though they were helpful. They had podiatrist students who helped take care of broken, blistered and battered feet.

Great albergue - big, clean, sterille, has kitchen with all utensils. Doesn’t give you bed sheet, but it is donativo, so you can’t complain. Friendly and helpful hospitaleros.

A simply wonderful pilgrim hostel. It opens at 13.00 although we are free to use the toilets and hot showers behind the little church in the albergue grounds. More washing facilities inside the hostel itself. Under non Covid conditions they give us dinner and breakfast but not right now. Extremely friendly and helpful volunteers. Clean and spacious. Run entirely on donations.

Amazing place to stay if you are a pilgrim and also doing the camino frances route, the staff owner is friendly, also has good facilities, visited here 2 years ago and it was one of the places I loved.

Volunteers are kind. Beds and bathrooms are clean managed. Washer and dryer can be used by 3 euros each.

volunteer run...lots of rules....they come running thru the rooms at 06:00 banging trash cans and telling you to get out. Very clean and well kept however a bit short on the "Howdy Neighbor" that is so prevalent on the Camino Frances. Kitchen great no clothes dryers

Without a doubt one of the best hostels on the Camino de Santiago. The bunks are arranged in rooms for a maximum of 4 people. Large and complete kitchen with refrigerator. Chapel, very beautiful outside area. Source. Very attentive, polite and helpful Hospitallers

Nice clean and friendly. they do the loundry for you and they have small quiet and clean rooms!

One of the larger albergues but friendly and comfortable and clean none the less. I pleasant and restful stay.

Outstanding Albergue which fully embraces the spirit of the Camino de Santiago. The staff is warm, friendly and helpful...upon your arrival they great you and offer you sweet tea and water...my mixed group of men and women were given a room together on the second floor...the first floor is separated by gender...the area to wash clothes is large, there are plenty of showers and toilets. I have stayed here twice and if I walk the Camino Francés again, this is where I'll stay in Ponferrada.

Nicely organized location. Donativo. Reasonable prices for laundry if you need one. Clean rooms for 4 people in 2store beds.

It is run by volunteer workers, so they don't speak English very well, but they are very kind :)
And there is a small spa where you can dip your feets in the cold water. It is fantastic!

The staff working here it's so helpful, kind and always with a smile trying to help you. High quality place with great installations!

The location isn't perfect, but overall one of the best hostels in the camino.

I had just ran out of money and had nothing to donate, but regardless of that I got the warmest welcoming ever. Thank you very much! :)

Very spiritual place. Perfect start for my camino. Got blessed after the mass. People address very helpful and friendly.

Amazing vibe , hospitalero were wonderful, great kitchen and social area, lovely settings and clean. Ponferrada great place to have a day off
