Nublo Restaurant

A lovely experience. The food was top notch but what stood out to us the most was the friendly service by David and the staff. Bravo to them, they really know how to make guests feel welcome. The ambience is also one-of-a-kind. And to top it off, the wines we had there were some of the best and most memorable from our trip. We would love to come back one day. Thank you!

One of Spain's best restaurants and the one place in La Rioja not to be missed. Michelin experience of set menu of innovative food, but unlike many other Michelin places with unpalatable foods, Nublo actually offers delicious food. Simple materials lightly cooked and respectfully presented. Surprisingly low prices for this quality.

This was one of the best gourmet experiences of my life. Everything was perfect: booking process, service, food, wines, atmosphere. One can’t really wish for more.

There is a shorter menu at 75€, but though we were not particularly hungry, we’ve decided that once we’re here, we’ll have the full 109€ experience. Very creatively served dishes, and they are delicious too!

The wine list is extensive, the prices are reasonable for 1 star Michelin. The sommelier was highly professional.

The host David was very welcoming and assisted us in getting a taxi from the hotel to the restaurant (it is a challenge in Haro).

And it seems like the restaurant does some sort of casting for employees - only beautiful people working here, so people watching is great here too!

An absolute must if in Rioja!

We were very lucky to have dined at Nublo. We arrived in Haro on a Wednesday in October and we were able to make reservations for dinner same day.
We were given a tour of the facility before being seated at our table. We decided to enjoy the experience with the paired wine. We were not disappointed! Amazing. It’s hard to tell you which tasting was our favorite. Honestly, we failed to take a lot of photos due to enjoying the food and the company. Luckily, they did give us a list of the food with the pairings.
My husband was mesmerized by the art display in the middle of the room that changed throughout the meal. A small moon dropped out of a center piece that then casted a shadow of the moon phases on the floor. Beautiful.
Highly recommend if you are lucky to get a reservation.

There is not much to say about Nublo Restaurant, but only chapeau. Since we arrived, the staff took good care of us. We visited the restaurant including wine room and the kitchen that it’s open on the dining room. Once on our table, we felt home and the staff has been perfect in making the experience unforgettable.
Coming to the food, we went for the experience menu and it was a lot of food (6 starters, 6 main courses, 4 desserts/fruit). The quality is superb and I really liked the order of the courses. We started with fresh and light dishes, then moving into more strong and intense tastes. I also liked the fact that some of the dishes are meant to be eaten by hands.
I'd highly recommend this restaurant if you want to have an unforgettable dinner.

Nublo was an intimate and excellent dining experience. We were taken into the kitchen to meet the chefs as they were preparing for service, and we had a chance to view the wood fired oven before we sat down. This was a very nice touch and allowed us to pay our respects to the chefs. The presentation of the dishes was simple yet elegant with a spotlight anchored from high above your table focusing the head of the lamp just above the plates. I have not experienced this type of table setting, and I liked it a lot. With the light shining below the faces of you and your table mate, the setting felt more intimate with no overhead light glaring on you. My favorite dish was probably the vineyard onion, or the ceviche-like dish served beautifully speared on a flower stem. 100% worth a trip to Haro for Nublo!

This place is a gem that is still somewhat hidden, but I have no doubts will become very known soon. They have only opened 9 months ago but already have a Michelin star.
The building and the decor is just stunning. I loved the concept of only cooking with open fire and the dishes were incredibly flavorful and beautifully presented. The price for the experience is unbeatable!

Outside of the amazing food what really made this place truly terrific was the service. From the moment we arrived to the last minute we felt extremely welcomed. The staff was very knowledgeable and worked seamlessly together to bring an upscale experience.

We did the 10 course sample and it was a lot of food. The wine was superb, but again the service was top-notch and made this more than a meal an experience. I'd highly recommend this place if you want to treat yourself to an amazing time.

Incredible meal! I’m a chef in Philly and have eaten in some excellent places but this was a superb meal, start to finish. Creative, flavorful food, cooked to perfection. And the service staff were exceptional. I wa dining alone but felt like I was eating with close friends and family. The staff here exudes hospitality. One of the best meals I have had

A really nice dinner, excellent service and very high level food accompanied by some top quality wines. Without forgetting the avant-garde and rustic architecture of the restaurant. I will definitely be back.

This is a must-do in Haro. The tasting menu combines many flavours in a very subtle fashion. Texture is important here too. I was very impressed with the quality of the food and the service was impeccable. I will be back.

Amazing price/quality ratio. The sirloin cured in blue cheese was delectable. The wine pairing was on point. The cadence of the dishes kept us perfectly satiated throughout the experience. Would highly recommend!

Great time spent with my girlfriend to celebrate our two year anniversary. The food is local and super well prepared. We quickly visited the cellar and the kitchen which I found nice.
The service is top, in English for foreigners, and we had good recommandation for the wine (go for a Roda !!!)

This was a fantastic Michelin star experience. The seared tuna and beef dishes were my favorite.

If I could give more stars I would. 2 prix fixed chef menus, the 11 course (smaller) was plenty. Front of house hospitality notable. Presentation of food like little works of art. Wine pairing thoughtfully chosen poured, and explained. Although find dining, not stuffy, yet special night out nonetheless.

We were a group of 28 people on a food and wine tour of Rioja. Isabel did a wonderful job arranging our private booking of the restaurant for a very memorable dinner. It's not easy for any restaurant let alone one of this calibre and size to serve a multi-course meal to such a large group but Nublo accomplished it without missing a beat. We were delighted with the entire experience and highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a standout meal in the region.

An utterly wonderful experience, from start to end: the staff were friendly, welcoming and informative, the space beautiful with an air of mystery given the architecture and lighting and the food was just delicious, the textures absolutely spot on.

A surprise. One of the best Michelin star restaurants that have given me and my family a superb treatment. The chef rvrn knew the food intolerances and person of my table had. The food was incredible (and of great quality), and so was the people serving you. If you enjoy food cooked with vineyards, and no gas or electricity, and you want to try some Rioja food with great Rioja's wines...this is your place!
