Petit Palace Savoy Alfonso XII

We had a wonderful stay in November. The staff was very kind; the hotel was gorgeous and clean. The restaurant was fantastic, too, the chef even made my daughter fried chicken which wasn’t even on the menu 💕

We stayed here one night and got an upgrade to one of their corner family rooms. It was huge! The kids loved the bunk beds, and it was nice to have space for all of us. The beds were comfortable as well. There could be a bit of upkeep in some of the spaces, and the chairs for our table looked like they needed a deep-clean, but overall the room was modern and clean. The breakfast was amazing - highly recommend! Staff were very kind and helpful as well. The hotel is across from the beautiful Retiro Park.

My husband & I stayed at this hotel in May 2019 and in still recommending this hotel to folks nearly 5 years later. Not only was the staff so so kind and professional but they were always helpful with questions, suggestions, and getting taxis! I cannot recommended this hotel enough and it will absolutely be the only hotel in Madrid recommend to everyone! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great location!!! Just opposite El Retiro and 2 mins walk from Puerta de Alcalá and Cibeles!

The rooms are very large and clean. It is always nice to stay here. I couldn't recommend it more!

Fantastic view of the park from across the street, rooms were nice but I think they tried a bit to hard to look "modern." Our room has fantastic balcony views, which I included in the photos. The staff was very professional and helpful. Would stay here again

Perfect location, especially if you're primarily motivation is visiting the museums. Being across the street from the Parque del Retiro is a huge added feature.

Very good hotel for the price. I booked the junior suite, and during check-in was assigned to a corner room on the 5th floor, with a nice balcony and an excellent view of the park.

The breakfast downstairs was also great, with lots of variety.

If you are in Madrid this is a perfect location and a quite good hotel option. They have good room sizes and very good showers. The staff are truly fabulous. Isabel at the front desk is awesome, and Javi and Fran in the bar cafe area were excellent as well. The hotel is also equipped with very good wifi. Overall, you cannot go wrong with this hotel.

Amazing hotel of the mesmerizing Madrid city! Lots of things are around the hotel and enjoyed walking on the streets of this beautiful city!

Great location, really friendly staff, right next to beautiful Retiro park great for jogging early morning. Stayed as a family of 4. Easy to walk, even for the kids, to great range of restaurants & city centre. Spacious rooms and fabulous breakfast. Period building but odd modern refurb rooms, shame they didn’t keep the heritage features throughout. But that’s just my personal preference- overall a great time had by all - the breakfast was the best!

Great hotel. Great experience. Great employees. The breakfast was very good, the rooms were very clean. Good Customer service. Amazing location! Would definitely recommend! (three people stayed in the room, had a king bed and a twin bed, also had two tiny opening window balconies, very pretty)

The staff here at the hotel is absolutely wonderful.
Isabel and the other beautiful ladies at the front desk treated me with exceptional kindness and grace. They put me in a rm on my return trip they knew I would love. Araceli in Room Service was amazing. Madrid is a city of love.

Great location! One of the quietest hotels I've stayed in. Could hardly hear a thing which meant peaceful nights.
Easy walking distance to either Serrano (leave your wallet behind!) Or to the city centre.
Very friendly staff.

Perfect location on relaxing Retiro Park and near the Prado Museum! Helpful and kind staff... especially Beta who ran a beautiful and delicious breakfast room with everything one could want every morning! Enjoyed our room with very comfy bed and great shower. Definitely will return as well as recommend :)

The staff, ALL of the staff were 5 star(6 star). We truly could not have asked for anything else. The room was perfect, with a small balcony to see the park. Bathroom and shower were excellent as well. We will certainly be back. It is a complete coincidence that the hotel is named for us, LOL.

Can't beat the location. Attentive staff, very clean rooms, we felt safe walking around in the area, good food within walking distance, the balcony has a door that works, English friendly. Would highly recommend!

What a great hotel! I’m traveling with my two teen boys so we selected a luxe room with bunk beds and a separate bedroom with a view of the park. We loved our comfortable and airy digs in Madrid. It was the perfect setup for our family and the location is beyond perfect. We had the park across the street and Gran Via, Prado and many restaurants at our doorstep. The Atocha train station is also close so we walked and took a train to Toledo. The hotel staff is attentive and friendly. Get the breakfast! It is so good and convenient. We loved the variety of foods. Everyone could find things they enjoyed for breakfast and we were ready to tackle the day! What an excellent property. Would definitely stay here again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
