Leonardo Hotel Madrid City Center

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel for couple of nights. The bed is comfortable, the room spacious, the bathtub in the bathroom gives a nice relief after the whole day in Madrid's heat.

The breakfast was good with variety of choices, from a continental breakfast to fresh fruits and basic pattisery.

The only two things I liked the least were:
- lack of soundproof walls / floors and room's door - you can hear your neighbours
- the faked bath gel. The hotel uses the branded Sea of Spa containers but it pours in a basic bath detergent inside. I feel they used to use this brand but changed the liquids to a cheaper ones while keeping worn out containers.

The room was very big and confortable, with tons of space to place and open our bags, the bathroom was nice with a bathtub. Power outlets to plug electronics and USB outlets. The staff was helpful and kind. The hotel in general is very nice, looks modern and clean.

Great hotel, but unfortunately, we had a room outside the petrol station refulling taps and had a fuel tanker delivery at 5am in the morning, which made lots of noise and strong smell of petrol. Was woken up by this and had to close the window.

We used this hotel as a base while checking my son into his study abroad program. The first recognition goes to a great hotel staff that worked with me to accept my son’s luggage which they would need to receive and hold a week ahead of our arrival. They did it willingly and it was right there on arrival. Then I would comment the staff was very classy and kind throughout the stay; friendly, smiling, helpful. The room was nice (a little dated) and the beds were comfortable! The shower had great pressure and hot water. The location was easily walkable to all areas of central Madrid, but this location is also very close to buses and the metro station. Great hotel. Recommended!

Had a 3 night stay with my husband and son. Room was lovely. Beds comfortable, great view from window. Bathroom was clean, great shower and good hair dryer. Perfect location for walking or metro. Would definitely stay again.

A really nice hotel with excellent service. Room was really clean, air conditioning was good. My only real complaint is that we wanted a double room and it was two single beds pushed together. The beds were on wheels and there didn’t seem to be a way to stop them moving all over the place - my boyfriend fell in between them at one point! It was a little noisy also, but nothing a pair of earplugs couldn’t fix.

Wonderful service, very comfortable rooms. Great value for money on the breakfast buffet! The staff were all very kind and helpful. The hotel is close to a metro stop so city center is easily accessible and there are great little local restaurants in the area. Only negative is that the rooms are very noisy. You can hear people talking/walking/moving from the rooms next to you but also the rooms above you.

beautiful reception and perfect service, lack of an active bar, the rooms well decorated and furnished, the parking elevator leaves nothing to be desired, it needs serious renovation. the very generous breakfast and the perfect service. a very nice hotel

What an amazing place to have stayed in. The quality of service was of a high standard, l had a fabulous room and very comfortable. Thank goodness for air conditioning, as it was a heatwave.

A fantastic breakfast with a wide range of food to tempt the taste buds, made fresh every day. The staff were attentive and approachable.

I found all the staff helpful and approachable. There was no issue when l needed a boarding pass printed off, or to order a taxi to take me to the airport.

It seems everything was effortless. I had various zoom meetings, which l took in my room and wasn't disturbed. ( Needed to stay cool)

The best stay here. Loved the room, very classic , dark hard wood floors, French opening windows, bidet, classic tape, beautiful room. Amazing service, all the staff was more then helpful and friendly. The bar/restaurant was closed however but that wasn’t a problem for me. Amazing stay

I hosted a company event at this hotel and everything was perfect. The staff is amazing from the moment you check in to the moment we checked out. Everyone who worked there made our entire meeting event successful. We also loved the neighborhood as it allowed us to find plenty of lunch and dinner options for a range of dietary restrictions. The rooms at Leonardo are perfect and we couldn’t hear anything outside our room which made for an easy sleep. The conference room we rented was perfect. There is nothing I can say negative about this hotel and all of its staff. Thank you!

Really nice stay-clean, beautiful view, comfortable beds

Hotel near metro station, or 27 minutes walking to city center. Very good acomodation. Enough restaurants near, don't forget to make a reservation first.

Very good, modern hotel, in a fantastic location in the city. This hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from the local Metro station and less than 10 minutes walk to Plaza de España and the beginning of Grand Via. To reach the very Centre of the city (Sol) it's only 20 minutes by foot or you can use the Metro with only one change. We paid direct to the reception for breakfast on one of our 3 mornings and it was well worth the money. A good range of tasty food and drink on offer. The bed was very comfy. The WiFi worked very well. Air con was excellent. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We will return to this hotel.

The hotel was very nice and the staff very helpful. Speaking in english and spanish and very friendly. The room was nice with a safe and fridge. The only problem was i had a room next to a large room and other guests were very loud. Also the housekeepers start very early but do an amazing job and are also helpful. Sergio, working on the night, was amazing and helpful.

I spent 3 nights in this hotel which I mostly choose when in Madrid. Fantastic location as it is walking distance to all the important places in the centre. Comfortable room and fully equipped bathroom. Great professional stuff at reception, all those made my stay very pleasant and will for sure be my accommodation option next time I visit Madrid. Highly recommendable.

Not far from special areas and if you don’t like walking at all, near a metro station.

Rooms are very basic (there is not a drawer to be had in all of the deluxe rooms) but very comfy. Pillows are a bit too soft, but mattress is firm. Great bathroom. Huge TV. Couldn't hear anything from rooms around me, but I could hear the people in the room above breathe.

EVERYTHING in this hotel screams 5*!! Lovely room, attentive staff, beautiful shower, spacious bed and 4/5 receptionists absolutely, undeniably, AMAZING💘

Good hotel for one week trip in Madrid. Position is its best asset: it is 200m far away from the center of Malasana neighbohoord (the best one for night outs in Madrid). I appreciated the value for money of this hotel, i didn’t find any other better solution (I book a room three months in advance anyway). Room was tiny, but clean and with all stuff supplied by the hotel.
I can not review hotel’s restaurant, because i didn’t go.
