Nice room and friendly owners. Very clean and well presented.

The lady who I think owns/runs this did everything with a smile, the other staff were great too. The food - great, the accommodation - great and the price for all of these almost perfect, free would be better. 😝 Oh and very bike friendly.

The lady who owns this restaurant is very nice. They make excellent food for us as cyclists who stayed here as we used this place as a Basecamp fir mtb adventures. Very centrally located. The food is great as well as the rest of the staff.

Amazing friendly owners run the restaurant and hostel. Excellent Spanish food and we had a group seafood paella that was perfectly prepared. Clean comfortable rooms.

I spent a week here on a mountain biking trip. The food and accomodations were perfect. The lady owner is the nicest. I loved the authentic Basque everything.

We stayed in the Ameztia hotel for a mountain biking holiday for a week in August 2014.
The hotel bedrooms were modern and very clean, the staff were very friendly and service was excellent. We ate in the restaurant for breakfasts and evening meals everyday, sometimes for lunch too. The food was excellent, home-cooked and fresh local produce.
There is storage and cleaning facilities for bikes which makes it perfect for a biking holiday. We had a visit to the nearby Spa which was lovely.
I would happily stay here again. Thank you once again to the staff and owners of Ameztia who looked after us during our stay.

This resto was awesome! Super friendly staff and the place was cozy. We own the whole hall for us only for the whole week!

We rented some bikes there and at the end we had some good pintxos in the bar.

Es un bar restaurante con una cocina estupenda. En el mostrador siempre hay una gran variedad de pintxos muy bien preparados. Los postres, por supuesto, son espectaculares. Los que siempre que voy repito son la tarta de queso y el samingoxo. Una delicia los dos.

El bar es un bar de pueblo, con mucha variedad de pintxos, y una carta no muy extensa pero riquísima, con precios muy buenos. Por no hablar del buen trato de los camareros.

Las habitaciones muy limpias y muy buena relación, calidad precio.

Maravilloso hostal, muy limpio, camas muy cómodas, limpieza impecable, el agua caliente sale al instante. Las vistas desde el balcón son muy bonitas (río). En frente está el bar, buen desayuno. Sin duda lo recomiendo a todos.

Tercera generación a cargo Hostal que merecería tener categoría de Hotel. Habitaciones muy amplias y muy bien acondicionadas. El trato inmejorable, amables y atentos. Recomendables al 💯. Tienen un bar con el mismo nombre que ofrece gran variedad de pinchos, bocadillos ect. de calidad.

Resumiendo la estancia de 5 días: todo el equipo que gestiona el hostal y el bar, unos auténticos PROFESIONALES.

HOSTAL: Habitaciones con todo lo necesario, nuevas, limpias, y lo más importante, colchón y almohada visco, nada de ruido externo, para dormir del tirón.
BAR: Buen local, con terraza, variedad de pinchos y raciones , sin pretensiones, pero de calidad superior.
El revuelto de hongos(boletus), impresionante. Las croquetas, postres caseros, ..... buenísimos .
El pan recién sacado del horno durante todo el día.

Habíamos reservado para siete noches, y por circunstancias tuvimos que adelantar la salida dos días. No hubo ningún problema.

Un lugar más que aconsejable para visitar el valle del Batzan y aledaños.
