The hotel was well designed except the elevator is definitely on Spanish time. Breakfast buffet was okay- not the best but not bad. Cocktail bar below is nice and varied drinks. Their hotel food to order was bland and spineless (but maybe appeals to English crowd?)

A bit further away from downtown so you will need to get cabs for less than 10 euros into the key parts of town

We spend several days in this hotel for Company workshop. Everything was perfect. Very good customer service, rooms were clean and prepared on time. Personal was taking very good care about us. Really recommend !!

Ray, Sylvia and the team took very good care of me. I would definitely be back again and it was an excellent experience.

The ambience, food and overall facilities were really good. Good variety in restaurants and near the poolside.

5 Wonderful nights in this wonderful hotel as expected by the standards of the Melia chain.
The level access was my main reason for my stay, as it provides a peaceful space with great views across the city along with snacks and drinks throughout the day.

The hotel can get busy with business guests as it is located within a business district but there are many places to hide away in this lovely hotel to avoid the 'suits' ... I was a 'suit' once, forgot how annoying they could be :-)
It's absolutely fine for solo travellers (like myself) couples and families alike.
The hotel facilities are great and there are local shops/restaurants very near by.
Valencia centre is only a few stops away on the metro.

Above all it's the STAFF that make a hotel the perfect place to stay.
I have to personally thank Toto (Africa) as my first point of contact at check-in and Giovanni the main man of the Level lounge.
Together with Maria, Sara and trainee Jan from reception and not forgetting the hardworking Maria, Sandra and Fran from the breakfast team. An extra special thanks to Maryem from the Level lounge for providing a great service too!!

I am not your average guest and do not have high expectations, I simply like being part of the hotel family...Thank you everyone, you made it special for me!!... I will return.

(The only negatives is the lack of smart TVs, the lifts can be tricky and room doors close very loud - I respect the peace of other guests and always close hotel doors slowly to avoid banging, we can't all be the same I suppose!)

The rooms are well sized, and the hotel is spacious and nicely designed. Thank you to the staff who were very supportive and helpful with everything, especially Giovanni.

The location is ok with some close by shops, restaurant, supermarket etc.., but not exceptional.

We will be back!

Great hotel in an amazing city - honestly priced, superbly comfortable, with fantastic views, attentive staff and state of the art facilities.

This is a solid choice of a hotel in a safe area for business, romantic gateway or a family trip.

The location is just 15 min from the airport, the journey to the centre takes even less time and can be made by a direct bus or metro. Even though it is a city centre hotel, the nearest beach is only a 20 min drive away.

The facilities include a cool swimming pool, fully equipped spa, gym. There is a casual bar, quite a high quality restaurant etc but what really makes a difference are the staff.

Every single person I interacted with during my stay was polite, enthusiastic, smiley. Nothing was too much trouble.

Tip: For the most comfortable and special experience it makes sense to pay a little bit extra to get a Level Room. It guarantees breathtaking views over the city, entry to an exclusive lounge with drinks and tapas plus a dedicated breakfast area.

It was a short business trip (2 nights) and I got a very positive impression about the hotel and experience.

15 minutes drive to the airport and very accessible to the city center with public transportation. 4 Metro stations.

The surrounding area has lots of dining options.

Staff is welcoming and welcoming to help not only in the hotel but about Valencia as well.

Rooms are clean and housekeeping staff is responsive.

Very satisfied from the breakfast as it has variety and more importantly a coffee machine! Personally I can’t kick off my day with the right cup of coffee. They also provide paper cup for takeaway.

Gym was also nice.

If you rent a car while in Valencia, this hotel is an amazing place to stay. We had a room on the 23rd floor and the views were insane. The hotel itself is very modern, huge spaces, it’s like any of those huge American resorts. Beautiful, clean, excellent service. Highly recommend it.

We stayed at the Melia Valencia over Easter weekend. The location is far from the main parts of town so we took a cab or train. The hotel is very nice. Lobby is pretty with high ceilings and nice decor. Breakfast was very good with lots of options. The staff was friendly and we also enjoyed the cocktail bar located downstairs from the Lobby. The room was very spacious. My only complaint is I wish they provided slippers as I didn’t love the carpet or tile in the bathroom. The bed was also a bit low but mostly comfortable.

Stayed here with my wife who was at a conference in the hotel. We went for a junior suite on a 'level' package. Both elements were well worth it; the former because of the generous space and excellent views (level 18), the latter because of all the extras. We were particularly grateful to Paula and all the other staff on 'level' 26 who were excellent throughout.

I stayed at the hotel for three nights last week in order to combine a busy work period with some relaxation! It was great to enjoy the views from the room windows more than 20 floors up while enjoying the facilities such as restaurant and spa. This was my second trip to the hotel this year (the first was in January).

During the latest trip, for the third night I upgraded to a 'Level' room which includes the lounge for food and drinks on the 26th floor. I can honestly say I was made to feel very at home thanks mostly to the staff! There is a really nice team of Maryem and Manuel plus Giovanni, Daniela, Paula and Tania who was the first to welcome me in. Thank you for all of your help guys! There is very much a family feeling and it made the stay much nicer.

I'll definitely come back again as soon as possible!

The rooms were very nice, clean and functional. The bath products; top notch. All employees we dealt with were polite, helpful and eager to please. I would especially like to single out Nadal who was working in the Oval Bar. She is a lovely person - always ready with a smile and a friendly word. Thank you for making our stay even more special Nadal!

As someone who lives nearby to the Melia and frequently visits the hotel I can highly recommend the hotel.

No matter who is working in the Lobby bar, the service is always of a consistently high standard.

You will not find this level of service in any restaurants, bars, cafes or hotels nearby.

Everyone is always friendly and professional and they will try to attend to your needs as best they can.

Great service from Alfons yesterday but I could literally mention everyone’s name.

Sergio also deserves special praise.

My family have also stayed in all of the nearby hotels and nothing is comparable against the Melia.

Thanks to everyone.

A great hotel for reasonable price. We had a great experience. Staff is super nice, rooms are big, showers are great. Location looks far from the city centre, but the metros (underground trains) get you there in a blink of eyes. There's also a tram close by that goes straight to the beach. We will definitely book again on our next visit. Thank you very much!
