Hotel Real Monasterio San Zoilo

This hotel is an oasis for travellers. Make sure to stay here if you have the opportunity. This is a family business and you can see the pride the owner has in everything about the hotel. The facilities are just excellent. We stayed as we passed through on the Camino so it was a real energiser to find this kind of peace and calm - and luxury. Food and wine are all locally produced and deliciously prepared. We plan to return again!

Great historic hotel in Carrion de los Condes. The hotel is part of an old monastary that has access to an ancient church and cloisters. The cloisters are not to be missed. The food and service were great, and the rooms had all modern amenities.

An absolutely gorgeous hotel and such a unique place to stay. I had a wonderful time exploring the cloisters, the church and the hotel grounds. I went for a meditation on the grass along the stream, which was lovely. Hotel staff were warm and friendly as was the restaurant staff. The room was clean, beautiful and very comfortable. I enjoyed dinner in the restaurant in the evening. Special praise, however, goes to the wonderful woman running the breakfast shift. She single-handedly managed over 25 guests and two breakfast stations by herself, even with an impatient group of cyclists. Hats off to her for making it look easy! She was fantastic. Hope to stay here again. Thank you for a great experience.

Worth staying here just to explore this very interesting monastery/ hotel. Rooms were older style but very comfortable. Staff were helpful and efficient. Nice buffet breakfast for pilgrims looking for an early start onto the long section ahead.

Location, history, great staff. Rooms are a little quirky, which I loved, good food. Even without all that, they would have won me over with just the pillow selection alone. I like smaller, feather pillows...not the huge overstuffed single body sized pillows most places I've visited here have.... I know, back sleepers don't know what I'm talking about ... but side/tummy sleepers will!

One of my favourite, if not most favourite places to stay along the Camino Francés. Excellent service, wonderful beds, large bathrooms and an historic sense of the hotel. High quality dining room for dinner. Free parking. Several bars. Everything the weary pilgrim needs.

Very charming conversion of a large monastery. Comfy bed, friendly staff, lovely grounds and a large open outdoor pavilion for drinks and snacks. It's like staying over night in a museum, when you look around the building. Out of town but close to town, so a quiet and handy location.

Well in my opinión i think that it is a Wonderful place in a really paceful town. We had a really great time there me and my family and we Will probably get back there soon. Facilities are also incredible and the rooms not that luxury but very comfortable though.

Absolutely stunning place. Rooms beautiful, just missed room tea and coffee making facilities. Bar is great, with fresh made pizzas to order.

This hotel is a must stay, great value for money and simple but great room. The highlight is the restaurant, some of the best food we have ever tasted in spain. Loved all of it.

Great castle style hotel with lots of interesting details, big rooms and great service. Not friendly to pilgrims because you will need to walk a lot inside hotel to reach different activities:)

It was supee cool, but i oreders some Ice tea and thet didn't give me the tea selección so I had to drank a tea that ir was okay

It's the real thing and when in the area you should consider staying there. It's peaceful, affordable, friendly ...and with a bar-restaurant
