Hostal Albe

Great location, amazing room and wonderful shared living room and kitchen. It’s a 6-star place for pilgrims. One of the best hosts. We had a double room with private bathroom and kitchen. The host was super kind and heart warming. He treated us with generosity and kindness. We payed 5 euro for laundry service. The clothes were even folded when the host gave us back. We deeply deeply deeply appreciated.

Fabulous! Central, near restaurants, grocery store and bar. An old building but with lovely ambience. Comfy warm twin room with a bath! Nice kitchen and lounge area. All for 32Eur for two. Best value on the Camino so far. Highly recommend.

cant believe we snagged basically a hotel room for hostel prices...for only 32€ my mom and i were shocked to have own private room w our own bathroom, blankets/sheets/towels/soap already included and set up for us. everything very clean and high quality. hot water came out beautifully.
we chose this place so we can cook in the kitchen so personally doesnt bother us that they dont serve meals
if i could stay here for the rest of my camino would be a dream but very thankful for this 1 night stay. this is a luxurious break from the regular albergue life
*edit: AND laundry wash+dry service done by the host is only 5€

Lovely hostal in an old house. Extremely good value, lovely rooms, communal areas and kitchen.

It's an old hostel but well maintained, quiet and very clean. Great quality-price ratio. I recommend

The best place I've stayed on the Camino and at the best price!
I arrived today after walking 82km in 3 days and I was exhausted. I was greeted by a lovely man who went and got me a cold drink after check in which was so nice. I booked a single room. I was amazed to find a bath and a washing machine!! What a nice surprise. The balcony opens to a bar outside and they played beautiful music all afternoon. I cooked myself some dinner in the spotless kitchen and ready to retire to bed early. There is a well stocked supermarket a couple doors down. I am going to be recharged and ready for another trek tomorrow. What a find!! The beautiful plants through out the place with large common rooms and great wifi set a beautiful scene. Couldn't get any better!

We had been walking the Camino Santiago de Compostela for 18 days before I arrived at Hostal Albe in Carrión de los Condes. So far, Hostal Albe is the best we had ever stayed. It is the best value for money. We paid €30 for an ensuite room. The room is spacious. We also had a great dinner at a restaurant a couple of minute walk from Hostal Albe. The restaurant serves dinner at 6:30pm to cater the pilgrims.

This place is a real gem on the Camino. The room we had was nice and spacious and the price was excellent. The best things about it were the location in the heart of the town and the lovely communal area. There was a wide range of seating and a very good kitchen for making meals.

This is one of the nicest places we have stayed at on the Camino. We made a rest day here to enjoy the comforts of the hotel and to explore the town after walking near 400km.

Beautiful place with very good energy. It was clean and spacious. The lady does your laundry and that’s already included in prize. In the room is full equipped kitchen and TV. Very nice accommodation in the centre of the town.

Spacious n cheerful room, hot shower, clean towels, comfy beds. Restaurant right downstairs, supermercado few steps next door. Best of all, radiator is on when its cold at night. LIKE!

It makes no sense to go to Albergue in Carrion. I had that experience last night, everything normal... well a 40 minutes long check-in...
In Hostal Albe, they clean and dry my clothes for free. The same family supermarket next door provides you all you need to cook your desire in the kitchen.

The best accommodation on our Camino for just 30€. If you want to take a break from albergues and enjoy a bath in your private room for almost the same price choose this place. Friendly lady let us check in around midday even though checkin time starts from 14:00. They also washed and dried our dirty clothes from walking all day for free. Hostel has pretty good supermarket next to it where you can buy all neccessary groceries and cook in hostel kitchen which has everything you would
need for a good home cooked meal. Our room was chilly even though outside was +33 degrees. And the best thing that any albergue or hostel and even hotel rooms on Camino could learn from them - they have fan in room which you can use if it gets too hot.

Excellent location, excellent reception, superior amenities and service. Worth every penny. WiFi is fast. Good water pressure. Room with kitchen actually comes fully equipped (condiments, 4 hob cooker, microwave, kettle, fridge).
Ceilings are high, view is very nice.
Very well thought out interior design/placement.
Highly recommended.

Great location and nice people. Quaint, clean and exactly what a Pilgrim needs - including a en-suite bath! There's a great fully equipped kitchen, lounge and dining room too. Excellent ☺ And you get chocolates on arrival...

Wow, can't beat this stay for 30 euros. Private room with a bathtub, free washing machine and shared kitchen. Very friendly host, highly recommend!

The hostel is close to everything and on arrival we were gifted with a box of cookies. The room was great,bright,clean and well kept; the best we've had in the camino.The room had a kitchen and a bathroom with bath tub! Great value!

A lovely comfortable stay during my camino. The hostal is a large charming house with mostly wooden floors and spacious common areas. My room was clean, with a spacious bathroom and comfortable bed. The hospitalera was so nice and allowed me to do my laundry for free. There was even detergent available and you can hang dry your laundry after. Very conveniently located at the center of town and you can jump right back into the camino the next day. There is a bar restaurant beside it that serves good food.
