O Corzzón

A bit off the path but worth the trip! Host Isabella is excellent and friendly. The guest house is wonderful - built in the 1870's by the host's great-grandparents. Food is simple and top notch, including wine made by the host herself. Strongly recommend!

If I could rate this place 6 STARS I would. This could not have been a better stay. Isabella (the owner) came to pick us up in town when we had finished the Camino for the day and drove us to her beautiful home. The home could not have been more beautiful with plenty of outdoor seating by a vineyard and fruit trees (it was a much needed quiet after a hard days work). She made us a beautiful dinner that was very well thought out and beautifully prepared with food from her garden. I more than recommend this stay if you decide to walk the Camino. Isabella was a terrific host and welcomed us with a warm smile.

We had one of three rooms in this rural casa, set in it own gardens about 4km outside Porrino. Our hosts collected us and dropped us off. They were very keen to please and provided us with bottles of water and homemade wine for which they charged us very little. The room was bright and airy with an excellent shower. The hosts made a clothes drier available for our washing but we don't think a washing machine or laundry service was available. We sat out in the gardens and enjoyed the views. We had a very nice evening meal and they gave us a packed breakfast to take away as we requested.

A few kilometers out of town. They picked us up and dropped off in the morning. Lovely location, beautiful room with large shower, separate toilet. Delicious dinner and breakfast

We had a very warm,cosy and lovely stay at this bed and breakfast. The country views at the house are serene and scenic. It’s quiet and close to nature. Rooms are clean and tastefully decorated. Isabelle took effort to make us feel welcome - she makes her own farm to table food and wine. We totally love and cherished the experience. Thank you Isabelle

Stayed at this B&B while walking the Camino, lovely relaxing stay in the countryside. We were well looked after by the hosts, lovely home made spanish omelette for tea and a peaceful nights sleep. Picked up and taken back to the route by the hosts!

Isabela is truly a fantastic hostess. I walked there using the ‘Camino complementario ‘. I passed back the back gate of the casa and walked around the outside wall to the front and the casa is huge. I started my walk in Tui and O Corzzon is only 8 miles and I got there in 2 hours 50 minutes but Isabela and made an exception for me and let me use the room. This was my worry so the previous night, I WhatsApp Isabela and she replied right away . Thank you for her kindness. If not, I will have to wait several hours somewhere to wait until the check in time.
I was welcome by first her sister dog, a black curly hair medium size dog that looks like a sheepdog. I love dog and the dog is very friendly.
The room is on the second floor . It is comfortable . A fan in the room really help with air circulation. The bathroom is brightly lit and spacious.
The garden is big with seating area , grape vine and a lemon tree.

In the afternoon, I played with fetch her sister dog , I threw the ten

Breakfast is served in a modern new building next to the garden that looks very cozy.

Around 8:30 pm last night, Isabela cat Sushi paid me a visit. She was standing outside the window on the roof. I tried to invite Sushi in but she was a bit shy. This morning I saw Sushi again and she let me pet her.

Isabela is very nice. She make me feel so welcomed. She is there to help. I have the wonderful opportunity to get to talk to her sister. This morning , her sister and her husband gave me a ride to nearest entry point to the camino.

One final comment is Isabela told me for every guest that stays there, she plants a tree a ‘roble’ or oak tree in a nearby communal forest as a carbon offset. That is very noble of her and it is the first time that I knew of anyone who does that. Her action is so inspiring. She had a few moments to chat before breakfast. I told her I want to practice my Spanish and she spoke to me entirely in Spanish and she had to listen to my awful broken Spanish.

If you intend to stay around O Porriño, this is the best place to spend the afternoon to relax and , the night to recharge your body battery .

Casa Corzzon is one of those places that takes your breath away as soon as you walk in. We were greeted by the owner, Isabel, who was kind enough to pick us up and bring us to the house. Isabel shared that the house originally belonged to her grandmother, adding a personal touch to the experience.
The bedroom was fantastic, with a comfortable bed that promised a good night's sleep. The bathroom was equally impressive, offering plenty of space and a generous supply of hot water. It’s the little things like this that make a place stand out.
Isabel offered to make us dinner, and the aroma wafting through the house was delightful. Once we sat down to eat, it was clear that Isabel is a talented cook. The dinner was truly amazing.
After a great dinner, we settled into bed. The bed was comfortable, and we had a peaceful night's sleep. In the morning, breakfast was simple but satisfying, with enough to keep us going for the day ahead.
Overall, Casa Corzzon exceeded our expectations. The personal touches from Isabel and the history of the house made our stay memorable. If you’re looking for a cozy and welcoming place to stay, Casa Corzzon is definitely worth checking out. We left feeling relaxed and well taken care of.

Beautiful home in a beautiful setting with a wonderful hostess! My friend and I were walking the Camino Portuguese and arrived earlier than expected. Although I am sure she was quite busy preparing for the evening clientele, Isabelle was gracious and picked us up in town. Her home is lovely, relaxing, and peaceful. Even though we woke up to a rainy day's walk, the view out the room window over the grape vines was breathtaking. I only wish we could have stayed another day!

I would hike the Camino just to stay here! Isabelle is an incredibly gracious hostess and the property is stunning. Quietly reading in the garden with just the sounds of birds, eating a delicious home-cooked meal under the grape vines, waking to misty views of the surrounding valley - this is a private oasis that leaves you feeling like you have been to a health retreat. Get a foot massage with a glass of home made wine in hand and feel like royalty for a day (or several). Thank you Isabelle for sharing your beautiful home with us. It was love at first sight. 🥰

Our party of three ended our first hike day on the Camino we are so blessed to meet Isabel and Mercedes. They are kind, caring (I took a spill on the trail and Isabel gave me aloe to put on my leg). We were given a ride to town. Rooms were amazing! Thanks ladies.

Isabelle is a wonderful hostess - rooms were amazing and clean; and the food delicious - all made fresh from her garden!! A little far from the town but if you are looking for a quiet place with true Spanish charm, this is it :) Gracias Isabelle!!

This accommodation was a welcoming place after our first day of walking the Camino from Tui. Isabella made us feel like family as she brought us to her beautiful guest house. She offered massages for our weary feet, a yoga room to stretch our bodies after walking all day, quiet place to sit and reflect amid the grapevines, and a delicious meal to nourish us. Highly recommend!!
