Amazing authentic Galician meal. Superb value for money

It's very difficult to find a truly authentic local restaurant that has atmosphere, incredible food, kind and efficient service and an awesome location to boot. This old bodega that's been sympathetically converted into a restaurant is cosy and romantic in the winter (with candlelight and a roaring fire) and cool and romantic in the summer (with it's magical terrace, fairy lights and rustic outdoor dining under the stars). We love this place and go regularly, as do many others so be sure to book to avoid disappointment. Ask to be in the old part if you want dim lighting, candles and more secluded dining. The modern front part is great for lunch with a view over the Minho but has less atmosphere. The menu is varied and has a twist on the normal tapas (you won't find anything like this anywhere else) and they always have specials which without fail are amazing. We just plump for the specials normally and are never disappointed. Right now they are on limited opening times, which I think is a great pity.

The food was stunning and the terrace which was covered in vines was a delightful place to eat. Awkward to find but it is on google maps, but if you are in the area ,you must give it a try. Plenty of parking. The fact that it only cost £55 with wine was an added bonus.

Some of the best food we have eaten in 2 years in Galicia. Very warm welcome and great service. If you want to try superbly cooked locally sourced tapas this is the best place in the area. The building is a very old one which has been sympathetically restored and has a nice atmosphere. There are great views across the river Miño to Portugal from the front room which is quite modern in style, or there is a cosy room to the rear with exposed stone walls and an open fire in winter. In summer there is a very attractive courtyard with tables and small water feature which also has a nice feel to it. There is a very large old wine press in the courtyard too which is adds to the historic atmosphere. The food is tapas and so you can have as much or little as you wish, all washed down with locally made wine, or Estrella, Galicia's own excellent beer. Excellent value too.

“Espectacular” La evolución de la cocina gallega inspirada con matices de modernidad, conjuro de sabores autóctonos gallegos dentro de platos únicos.
Todo absolutamente todo estaba súper fresco, delicioso, con buena presentación y a la altura.
Comer en la terraza en el antiguo lagar bajo la frescura de la Parra es una experiencia increíble.
Mi primera visita fue hace 20 años, y aún nuevamente sus dueños siguen siendo personas encantadoras y maravillosas.

Unha maravilla de sitio, pola ubicación natural, polas vistas para comer, pola exquisita atención. Seguramente a mellor taberna da comarca do Baixo Miño. Se alguén le isto, agardo que non perda a oportunidade de ir.

Sitio de toda la vida. En los últimos años ha experimentado un cambio de cocina y aún faltando platos típicos sigue manteniendo el nivel a un muy buen precio.

Sitio super bonito y agradable. Personal formal y cumplidor.

De nuestra última visita recomiendo la costilla de vaca cachena y el jurel marinado y de siempre: ensalada y croquetas de jamón que no fallan.
