El Trébol

Lovely little taberna with nice food and a great atmosphere. We arrived at 8.00 pm and it was already full inside and outside. We had a selection of tapas, and the good thing was that the waiter said it was enough as it really was enough. This is a perfect way to try 2 very popular dishes, the deer dish and the pork one, both strong flavours but worth trying. The waiters are friendly, and the service was quick.

Really good spot for quality of traditional local food. We had a few plates to share and did not spend much.

Had a fantastic dinner here. We at inside, in the upstairs section which was great as it wasn't too loud, or busy with people walking by. Our server did a great job!

The food was awesome, mixed grill meat was juicy and flavourful.

Book ahead (if you can) or get there early. Also if you see a big line outside, go in and ask, as the outside line was for people waiting to sit outside.

My most favorite place to eat in Toledo. The atmosphere is par none along with the service! Highly recommend 🫶 Tastey chicken salad that I still dream of having. The most fresh ingredients and my server knew exactly what to offer me as far as wine so much that I took a bottle back with me 🩵🫒

Our tour guide recommended this, we decided to try and we're really glad we did. We took a tray of tapas and everything was absolutely delicious. Added the patates bravas as an extra and those were great too. Place has a fun and busy vibe to it, we enjoyed our time and got served pretty fast too.

Best food I had in my Madrid trip. Get these 2 platters and they won’t disappoint and allows u to taste all the wonderful flavors and local dishes that Toledo has to offer.

Excellent tapas. Big servings and so cheap (4e each). I had the prawn croquette and stuffed minced potatoes was so good.
Thanks to the lovely waiter who suggested I start with 2 tapas. Was gonna order 3 but 2 was enough for 1 person.

Amazing place to have some traditional tapas in a very nice place just a street away from the main plaza Zocodover, attention was very good from a very friendly waiter and the best was the food which was delicious.

Came here on another restaurant’s advice after their kitchen was closed. How lucky were we, the food was amazing and there was a nice atmosphere. We had the stuffed potato and two stews. Everything was tasty and the portions were generous, we could have got away with only 1 of the stews. With 2 vermouths the bill came to €24, we thought that very reasonable. Definitely recommend if you’re in Toledo.

Service is fast. Staff are helpful and friendly. Most importantly, food is perfect with reasonable price. I ordered Iberian pork and love it!

Delicious food with reasonable pricing. The staff speaks English, that is amazing! They recommended us the traditional dishes in there ans it was incredible!

Moreover, the place is pet friendly, they give some water for them :)

It was a bit messy during the hectic hours, but afterwards they cleaned everything. You can find a spot outside or inside. But it’s definitely worth sitting outside with the fresh air and the vibe of the town :)

Some of the best food I’ve had in all of Spain. Our server was one of the nicest I’ve had in Spain too. We ordered the tapas platter and absolutely all of it was delicious. The sangria tasted like a milkshake; it was incredibly smooth and just fantastic. It was foamy, maybe they add egg whites? I ordered the carcamusas and boy was it just perfect. Tomatoey and with good juicy meat.

Small restaurant off the main square in the heart of Toldeo. Excellent bocaditos at reasonable prices. Bright and lively decor.

Close to McDonald's square, economic price with decent food. Try the local stew, Carcamusa

At this little tapas bar in some random alleyway we had our favorite tapas from our entire time in Spain! We especially enjoyed their estofado de ciervo (traditional venison stew with potatoes) and their bomba trebol (potato stuffed with minced meat, peppers, alioli sauce, and a spicy tomato sauce) more than anything! But we also liked their bread and their spicy potatoes. This place is perfect for making new friends and sharing meals with everyone. We’d love to come back given the chance!
