Absolutely gorgeous, definitely worth the trip, very lovely place. Lots to do and see, lots of delicious local food. It’s a very lovely church, they have lots of lovely artwork inside and the architecture was stunning; it is very well kept, nice and clean. It was free when we went it was a holiday in Spain; but they may charge $5/10 euros. The staff were very kind and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this church if you’re in the area / close by.

Definitely worth a visit. The entrance ticket includes an audio guide with a good headset. The English guide is good, clear and not too long or too short. A combination ticket can be purchased, currently at 12€, including entrance to church of Santos Juanes and silk museum although San Nickolau church is the best.

I always try to visit different churches in Europe, admire their architecture and all the unique details.
I usually do not review churches on Google but this one is the one to remember for long time!
You can feel it from the moment you enter.
The only thing i will mention is that it took 3 years to paint the whole church which is inspired from Sistine chapel in Vatican.

I’d looked at the pictures before but it really is like the Sistine chapel, and without guards shouting at people so even better.
Free audioguide was a good take to understand some back story to the various shrines.
Probably spent 45 minutes there in total along with some sitting down time looking at the details.
Don’t assume the lady at the front is the ticket lady, she is most definitely not. Go down the alley to the actual ticket office

The church was very impressive and the audioguide was very helpful. It was closed before 12:00 until 13:30 because of a special service, only locals were admitted in, so take this into account if planning on visiting during religious holidays.

Because we had Valencia turist card we paid 7 euro/ adult instead of 10 . Kids under 12, free entry. Amazing place, I also visited the the Sixtine Chapel and I really wanted to see the Spanish beauty. You also receive free audio guide.

Outstanding place. Be prepared to bend backwards a lot so you can admire the amazing ceiling. The free audio guide is very helpful.

This church is referred to as the Valencian Sustine Chapel. It is beautiful. It is so crammed with imagery that it's difficult to take it all in. It may lack Michaelangelo's subtly but it is still very well worth the visit and a must for lovers of art and architecture.
The price is reasonable and the audio tour is an absolute must.

Outstanding, impressive art. Very well put together its history by audio phones included in the entrance. This is a must see. The Sixtine Chapel of Valencia.Entrance fee was 9 euros provinding audio phones and an explanatory pamphlet in English and Spanish.

When I read about this church I thought oh no, not another kitschy hyperbaroque escapade. They call it Sistine Chapel of Valencia. But when I actually entered it...yes, flamboyant, but still with character, balanced. I stayed here much longer than in the Cathedral nave, the atmosphere somehow caught me. Definitely visit and try to feel it. Perhaps it will be worthy, who knows.

Amazing church to see... another must see in fact. Amazing architecture, paintings and the audio tour in Spanish or English really helped to understand all that is happening.

amazing chapel with both beautiful architecture and painting. we spent about over an hour here. i’ve visited many cathedrals and chapels of like but this is definitely worth seeing! the audio guide also enhanced the experience and i like how you could take you time to appreciate and take in everything.

Well-preserved/restored and beautifully decorated church. The audio guide is very thorough and is included in the ticket price. Plan for an hour or so if following all the stops from the audio guide. Definitely worth a visit if in Valencia.

Another hidden gem in Valencia. Walking by the narrow side street entrance off Carrer dels Cavallers you might be tempted to pass by the San Nicolas church. Being used to paying only 1€ or 2€ to enter the museums I was not excited about the 8€ or 7€ charged here. However, the interior houses so many works of highly detailed beautiful art it would be a shame to miss it. From the floor to the painted ceilings there's almost no space without something to see. When leaving, if you turn left on the street and then left again at the next side street you can walk around the exterior.

Wonderful cathedral. The paint from inside without words, so beautiful. You can buy tickets from cathedral or online doesn't matter.
