Goldcar Bilbao

Firstly there is always a wonderfully warm welcome with a smile. No matter how busy they are, their communication skills are very good! When I came to Bilbao, the place where I rented a car was Goldcar. I would especially like to thank Cristina because no matter how long a flight you come from, she refreshes you with her positive energy.

Helpful and friendly staff at both the Bilbao (pickup) and Seville Airport (destination) offices made the whole experience really simple and uder-friendly. Would definitely use Goldcar again, the little Fiat we hired worked a treat and was a very economical mode of transport!

I've already used many car rental companies and must admit that cannot find any disadvantage of goldcar. Pick up/drop off place is few kilometres away from the airport but once you book a car, someone from company will wait for you and drive there. Service was quick, pleasant, already all scratches marked, goldcar employee check car with us then while drop off it was done too (many companies do not do that, and simply send additional fees co cover). The cheapest petrol station was reccomended, therefore I can confirm that goldcar occured to be very customer friendly, thanks to this I will come back to them during next trips :)

Good customer service nice car good price and a quick transfer to airport from gold car all very good . I had to pay more insurance as do you Spain had charged me already so I paid twice

Their competitive prices stand, AS LONG AS you’re prepared to put up their steep damage security deposit of 1200 plus a full fuel tank deposit, OR pay for their additional vehicle damage insurance policy.

I chose the high security deposits, which were refunded 48 hours after my rental.

I would book again.

I booked via edreams and had no previous experience with this company. After reading the reviews I was rather nervous about it.
However the shuttle bus arrived just after I walked out of the terminal, on arriving at the office I was seen quickly and efficiently and the process was done in under 5 minutes. The guy that processed me on both receiving and dropping the car was very friendly and helpful.
The car was clean and gave me no problems.
I would use them again without hesitation.

After problems with other rental company, a booking agent made me a reservation with Goldcar Bilboa airport. I felt a bit nervous since I had a bit bad experience with Goldcar in Portugal and reading the reviews. Everything exceeded my expectations! The staff was sympathetic and friendly, I got a better car than was reserved for me and I ended up paying less than my original booking with other rental company was. I paid the full insurance meaning you pay the rent rate twice, but even in this case the cost was less than my original booking and I didn't have to sweat over possible damage and not getting the deposit back. Only surprise cost was the fee for crossing the boarder, that's around 50 euros, but like I said the cost was still low. No credit card needed either if paying the full insurance. Also the Fiat500 hybrid was super economical to use!

My voucher with Do You Spain got cancelled as my flight was late and I missed the pick up time, the staff at goldcar Bilbao were very helpful and sorted me out with a car similar to the one I had hired originally, moral of the story? Don't hire through a third party, hire direct from the car hire company, lesson learned

The car was in very good condition and the people who were working there were very helpful

Pick up a few minutes from airport. Transfer was very easy as was the return. The vehicle met our needs and the price was excellent. No complaints whatsoever.

When I saw the Goldcar reviews at Bilbao airport I was really petrified and prepared for the worst.
After my full experience from car pickup till drop off I believe it is my duty to share my positive experience.
Fast car collection, really friendly and smiling young lady, the car was brand new golf with 5k km mileage only. No issues with deposit, was returned on the next day.
I can’t recommend them enough, I would definitely use Goldcar again.

Hired a car for three weeks in June. Absolutely smooth process with no problems. By far the cheapest quote and no pressure to take extra insurance etc. We will definitely use Goldcar again.
