There’s a tiny, unassuming restaurant tucked away by the port that’s so inconspicuous you could easily stroll past without a second glance. But don’t make that mistake. Make every effort to step inside, because once you do, you’re in for a culinary experience that belies its modest exterior.

Start with the "rabas," which are, without a doubt, the best I’ve had in all of the Basque Country. Perfectly crispy, yet tender, these squid rings are a revelation. Each bite is a harmonious blend of delicate flavor and satisfying crunch that sets the bar impossibly high.

Then there's the monkfish. This dish is nothing short of extraordinary. It’s as if the fish was plucked straight from the sea that morning and served directly to your plate. The freshness is palpable, with every morsel bursting with the taste of the ocean. It’s a simple preparation that lets the quality of the fish shine through, a testament to the skill of the kitchen.

Finally, the dessert. Homemade, no doubt, and the perfect conclusion to an outstanding meal. It’s the kind of dessert you want to savor slowly, relishing each spoonful. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of sharing it. As good as it was, I found myself wishing I had kept it all to myself, to fully enjoy the sweet finish without having to part with even a single bite.

This portside gem may be easy to miss, but once discovered, it’s impossible to forget. It’s a testament to the idea that sometimes, the best culinary treasures are hidden in the most unassuming places.

I ordered one “ensalada mixta” (big and wonderful), dish principal was “Rodaballo con patatas panadera” (excellent flavor, very tasty) and one desert of “arroz con leche” (very special and smooth). I recommend all the dishes that I ate😍👏

Enjoy! The best fresh fish dishes and typical local specialities, right on the harbour basin! This place turns a nice evening into a great evening :-) And, the recommendation of the very friendly waitress can be followed very well; we were able to enjoy this on several evenings. An explicit recommendation!

Fantastic seafood restaurant. Meals were delicious but kinda pricey. Expect around 30€ per person. However definitely worth visiting.

Great food in a beautiful setting on the harbour! We had the fresh fish grilled, with a salad and a starter. Everything was cooked beautifully and well presented. The staff were very attentive too.

It was not beautiful, but one of the best fish i ever have eaten. And the service was excellent!

Restaurante informal en el muelle del puerto de Lekeitio, con unas vistas muy agradables al muelle. El servicio perfecto, y la cena magnífica, tanto las anchoas como las almejas, espectaculares, el servicio muy atento, de 10, y el rodaballo y el bonito sin palabras. Sin duda volveremos.

Un restaurante espectacular, tanto por la comida como por el servicio y la ubicación.

Bertan lanean dauden langileen jarrera eta harrera zoragarria, benetan eskertzekoa. Taberna barrutik zein kanpotik oso polita (portuan bertan, ezinhobea). Eskatutako guztia oso goxua, zorionak sukaldean daudenei ere, arrainen puntuak bikain. Pantxineta gomendagarria, benetan.
