Alima Surf & Hotel

The location is stunning and so beautiful. Silvia and Edu are fantastic hosts and so helpful and nice. The rooms are incredible with an amazing view including spectacular sunsets and the rooms are very quiet. The beach is close by and you can take surf lessons. We would love to come back.

We spent some lovely days with our daughters at the Alima Surf & Hotel in July. The hotel is beautifully situated and quiet. We really enjoyed the delicious breakfast and dinner with a view of the sea. The sunsets were spectacular. Silvia and Edu and their daughter are very friendly and helpful. They have decorated the hotel very lovingly and with great style. The rooms are nice and bright, and you also have a beautiful view of the sea. Silvia and Edu also give surfing lessons and you can also rent surf equipment from them. The beach is only a few minutes' walk away. It was our first surf lessons and our daughters and we had a lot of fun. To summarize it was a wonderful stay and we would like to come back some day.

Spent a wonderful three days at Alima, with such care and hospitality by the owners. The food was delicious, the beach was walking distance, and you could see it from the upstairs room through the big windows. The rooms were spotless, the beds comfortable. I'd recommend this if you're looking for a quiet place to stay and explore the area.

Lovely and relaxed place, with a great view and close to the beach. The couple running the hotel is kind and very friendly. Had a pleasant stay!

We spend 6 night in Alima Surf & Hotel and it is a charming gem tucked away in a new building, filled with delightful details and crafted with a generous sense of love from its owners. From the moment you arrive, it's evident that the owners are not only warm and welcoming but also genuinely dedicated to making your stay exceptional. They're always on hand to provide valuable advice about the local area.

This hotel isn't just a place to rest your head; it's an experience. With a surf school on-site, I decided to give it a try, and it turned out to be nothing short of extraordinary. The instructors were patient, and the feeling of riding the waves was exhilarating.

The rooms are a cozy and clean, offering stunning views of the ocean. Waking up to those vistas is a true treat. However, the real star of the show is the breakfast. Freshly prepared every morning, the aroma of pastries wafting through the air is simply heavenly.

In conclusion, I recommend Alima Surf & Hotel. It's not just a place to stay; it's an all-encompassing experience that offers a range of activities while providing a peaceful oasis to retreat to. You'll leave with unforgettable memories and a desire to return.

Location couldn’t be better. Amazing views from the room, were you can see the beach and sunset.(also, big and comfortable bed)

Spot to chill, read or have a coffee.
Edu, Silvia and the little Malia are excellent hosts and make you feel like home, plus they have all the local knowledge for hikes, beaches and plans near by. Overall, excellent stay

Amazing surf hotel, located 5 mins from the Ajo beaches, with the stunning ocean views from the rooms, terrace and the garden. We really cannot recommend the Alima hotel more, the hosts provided us with everything needed to make our stay just perfect!

We attended the surf skate class and yoga, the BBQ, we also joined the surf movie night, but the best of it all was the fact we could grab the surf board anytime we saw the good waves from our room and run down to the beach to enjoy the surf 🏄‍♀🏄‍♂

Alima is a great & modern place where you can slow down, take a rest, eat great food, drink delicious wine, read books and watch those stunning sunsets. Edu & Silvia will take care of you as if you were their family member. Thank you guys for being such a great hosts, we had a great experience with you and will definitely be back:)

Naturaleza, deporte y descanso en un ambiente familiar y como mucho flow. El hotel es tranquilo y ofrece buen descanso, pero a la vez tiene muy buen ambiente, con zonas comunes muy acogedoras que invitan al ocio tranquilo. Es una gozada degustar el fabuloso desayuno en la terraza con vistas al mar, al igual que muchas de las habitaciones. Además te pueden dar una clase de surf en grupos reducidos. Muy recomendable ¡Gracias chicos, volveremos!

Nous avons eu la chance de passer 3 nuits à Alima. L'emplacement est idéal, la plage de Ajo est a 10 min à pieds, le centre ville de Ajo et plusieurs spots de surfs sont accessibles en voiture aux alentours (D'ailleurs Edu est de bons conseils pour les spots), la vue de l'hôtel est incroyable, surtout au coucher du soleil. Sylvia et Edu sont super accueillants et disponibles. Les pièces communes sont très sympas, les chambres sont propres et confortables (avec Netflix !). Possibilité de restauration sur place (mention spéciale pour la sale de tomates qui est délicieuse !). Nous avons passé un super séjour et avons hâte de revenir ! 💙

Recomendable al 200% tanto para familias como para personas que vayan a surfear, increíble lugar, fantásticas vistas y el trato que nos dispensaron Silvia y Edu espectacular.
Fuimos a surfear a Cantabria un fin de semana con amigos y escogimos este hotel sin conocerlo. Nos quedamos encantados con sus instalaciones, lo cuidado que lo tenían todo y la ubicación (si te gusta despertarte mirando al mar, este es tu lugar!! 😀)
No tuvimos suerte con el parte de olas y gracias a las recomendaciones de Edu, pudimos surfear todos los días (varias veces), estamos seguros que sin conocer la zona y sin su ayuda, nos hubiese resultado imposible.

Acabo de volver de pasar un finde semana en este hotel con un grupo de amigos. Ha sido todo un acierto reservar en Alima Surf Hotel. Es un hotel fabuloso, todo nuevo a estrenar, limpieza al máximo, no falta ningún detalle, gusto exquisito por parte de los propietarios , q conocen muy bien la zona y te explican todo a la perfección. Las vistas son espectaculares y se puede disfrutar de unas puestas de sol desde la terraza/jardín del hotel increíbles. En cuanto tengamos ocasión de juntarnos otra vez repetiremos alojamiento porque todos hemos acabado encantados.

Perfekte Gastgeber, perfekte Zimmer, perfekte Aussicht. In 8 Minuten ist man zu Fuß mit dem Surfbrett unter dem Arm am Strand. Wir haben wunderschöne drei Nächte verbracht und können dieses wundervolle Hotel jedem von Herzen weiterempfehlen! Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder!

Espectacular!!!! Ese es el resumen de este hotel y sus propietarios. He pasado un fin de semana espectacular, con otros 3 amigos. El hotel es completamente nuevo y no falta ni un detalle. El ventanal del salón brutal, las vistas de ensueño, las habitaciones amplias, limpias, luminosas. Desayunar en el jardín que tienen viendo el mar no tiene precio. El desayuno espectacular. Y tanto Silvia como Edu son encantadores. Nos han indicado los mejores spots teniendo en cuenta las condiciones que había. Ya lo tenemos como sitio destino para nuestros futuros surfaris. Volveremos sin duda.

Hemos pasado cuatro días en este maravilloso hotel. Las vistas son inmejorables, el trato exquisito, los desayunos están buenísimos y encima mirando al mar no tienen precio. El trato de los dueños es inmejorable, en el asesoramiento de cosas para ver, comer… Las cenas en el hotel son muy agradables. Habitaciones amplias y muy luminosas, levantarse viendo el mar por esos grandes ventanales no tiene precio. Nos dieron una clase de surf familiar y sin haber practicado nunca este deporte han hecho que nos enamoremos de él. Muchas gracias familia, volveremos sin dudarlo!

Acabamos de pasar una estancia increíble en Alima Surf!
El hotel está en una localización inmejorable, a pocos minutos andando de la playa de Cuberris y con una vistas al mar increíbles. Puedes tomarte una cerveza en la terraza con esas vistas viendo el atardecer que es una maravilla.
Además, al ser un surf hotel, tiene escuela de surf propia que está genial equipada y también su propio skatepark.
Todas las habitaciones tienen vistas al mar y estaba genial decorada con una cama realmente cómoda.
Por último, destacar el trato de Silvia y Edu, que son de esas personas que siempre uno recordará por su amabilidad y acogida, nos hicieron sentir como en casa.

Fuimos toda la familia y no ha podía ser una mejor elección.

Ha sido como estar en casa de unos amigos con el servicio ee un hotel.

Además nos hemos iniciado en el surf con Edu, que ha tenido tanta paciencia que ha conseguido que me ponga de pie en la tabla … dentro del
mar.

Si te gusta el surf, dormir en un sitio idílico, bien atendido y con todo lo que necesites este es tu hotel.
Unas vistas impresionantes, al lado de una playa paradisíaca, en un pueblito con todos los servicios que necesitas, con una terraza ideal para contemplar el paisaje y tomar algo, habitaciones espaciosas, decoradas con gusto,con camas cómodas y vistas espectaculares.
Una joya.

Hotel impecable con atención muy personal. Mucho más tranquilo que los hoteles de surf habituales, con clases muy adaptadas a todos los niveles, en grupos pequeñitos. Rollo familiar pero relajado. Puestas de sol de aplaudir.

Hemos pasado un fin de semana genial! Hay dos skateparks en el hotel, uno de ellos indoor. Tienen una zona para dejar y lavar las tablas o los neoprenos. Las habitaciones tienen muy buena vista de la playa de Ajo.

En caso de que las condiciones no te convezcan para hacer surf en esa playa, tienes otras muy mano que puedes chequear. Los dueños, Edu y Silvia, no tendrán reparos en enseñarte en cuales para que te puedas dar el mejor baño! Son muy atentos.
