An excellent museum with static displays and useful and informative videos too.

An excellent collection taking you right back to the Neanderthals. So much to see and do (both permanent and temporary exhibitions) and a wonderful viewpoint out over the cathedral too.

There is a small shop for souvenirs.

Staff very helpful and by the way it is free!

Excellent museum with free entry. The lady at the counter was friendly and provide me with the english brochure. She also helpful and explain to me how to go around even I could not understand spanish👍👍 On the top floor, you can see wonderful view of the city.

We loved the museum and the views from the top balcony! Honestly, we stopped in Teruel mainly to break up a long drive from Bilbao to Valencia, but I wish we had had more time to spend. The museum is free and definitely worth an hour or so to tour -- thanks!

Provincial Museum of Teruel is a very nice museum. It contains of paintings and history. The building is around 4-5 floor and on ground floor you have paintings and from first floor , you have history and historical items from all around different ages, centuries and on top you have nice view of the city. Very recommended place in Teruel.

We visited Teruel and Albarracin for a couple of days and we were attracted by the Picasso & Goya exhibition they hosted at the moment. The exibition wasn't that big but we loved the collection of items the regular museum had. They took us in a jurney about life in that area, from 10.000 BC to date. A must if you visit Teruel!

Excellent, free museum with extensive collections of artifacts from prehistoric times through the modern era. Especially interesting exhibits describing the Iberian (pre-Roman) period.

A must see museum. The entrance is free. There is a nice movie projected in the last floor about the developmente of the city through centuries.

This is a wonderful museum which helps explain the history of this region. Well worth many visits to take it all in.

An excellent collection of artefacts from the earliest times of the city. Great collection of domestic and agricultural implements in the basement.

Visita muy interesante, la entrada es gratuita y si solo fuera por ir al balcón en el cuarto piso con vistas increibles a la catedras (hay ascensor) vale la pena la visita. Hay una reproducción de una farmacia de época muy interesante y muchas piezas históricas de la historia de la provincia. Una maqueta de un asedio romano.

Ce beau musée est situé dans un bâtiment Renaissance à Teruel, en Aragon, et logé dans la Casa de la Comunidad, un bâtiment historique datant du XVIe siècle.
Sa mission première est consacrée à la préservation du patrimoine de la région.
Ses collections variées couvrent l'archéologie, l'art sacré, l'ethnographie et les beaux-arts, avec des artefacts allant de la préhistoire à l'époque contemporaine.
Il joue un rôle important dans la promotion de l'identité culturelle aragonaise, puisqu'il organise des expositions temporaires et des activités culturelles.

El museo fue inaugurado en su nueva ubicación el 2 de marzo de 1987 y está destinado a albergar, básicamente, colecciones de etnografía, prehistoria y arqueología. Además, organiza ciclos de conferencias, exposiciones y otras actividades divulgativas. Posee una biblioteca especializada y salas de trabajo para investigadores, archivos fotográficos y cartográficos, y de un centro de documentación que facilita todo tipo de información a estudiosos. Las instalaciones repartidas en seis pisos además de las coleccione permanentes se completa con una sala de exposiciones temporales, un taller de conservación y restauración y un laboratorio fotográfico.

Molto interessante e completo. I vari piani di cui è composto presentano migliaia di reperti archeologici e, via via, più recenti. Bella la ricostruzione della farmacia, bellissimo il mosaico romanico che occupa un'intera stanza del museo. Per poterlo visitare tutto bisogna dedicargli almeno un paio d'ore, ma ne vale la pena. Notevole anche l'edificio in cui è allogato.
